CinemaSerf6 Feb 12, 2026A mother and her two children are wandering around a city replete with construction sites. She takes them into one and then after sticking a notice to the base of one of the cranes, they proceed to ascend to the top. The notice? It declares that unless she can find somewhere affordable for them all to live, they are going to jump. On the face of it, this is a pretty savage critique of society in a wealthy, industrialised, nation that cannot house it’s own citizens. We don’t, however, know anything about her or the reasons for her obvious predicament therefore we have no context upon which to make anything more than a cursory evaluation of a ten minute feature that rather leads us by the nose to a conclusion it wants us to reach.
