Just watched Bet Dead Casino on Relay, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a solid indie film set between the UK and Thailand, with an interesting and original concept that really kept me engaged throughout. The action scenes were great — you can tell there were some real hardcore athletes involved, and it added a lot of realism and energy to the film. The lead actress was also fantastic, carrying the story with a strong and believable performance. It could have been a bit longer — there were moments I wanted to see explored more deeply — but considering it was shot during the pandemic, the team did an amazing job pulling it off. Overall, a creative, well-paced indie movie that’s definitely worth a watch.
