Well it looks like Chappelle is relevant again. Honestly I'm happy about that, he's always been a little too funny to just drift away. But, now he's in the center of a circular firing squad and... God, you really have to respect that don't you? He knew what he was doing when he walked up against the wall and looked defiantly at Cancel Culture, loudly proclaiming that he's still going to be a comedian in the ultra PC world, you can take your best shot. And they did. You get censored on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb if you write a positive review about this. People were hungry for it, everyone watched it, and Netflix liked the numbers so much that they stood by Chappelle and gave the woke censorship goose steppers the middle finger. And Why? Because Chappelle is a comedian, comedian's by definition aren't PC, they are anti-PC, they speak uncomfortable truths in a way that makes us laugh. They are the counter culture... save maybe Bob Hope and Johnny Carson. They are supposed to be on the edge, they are supposed to be, by profession, against censorship. And this is Chappelle standing on a stage, doing his job, and daring the censor happy mob to take their best shot. You can say whatever you want about him, but that takes some brass, you have to respect someone that walks into the fire like that.
