Satire needs to be funny to work Political satire is tricky. In order to make fun of the thing it is pointed at it has to be funny to start with. This movie is not. I get how the political issues are poignant and relevant, but the fact of the matter is that the movie is simply not funny. You can laugh at the caricatures, the absurdities, but in the end, the movie isn't funny. That makes it fail as satire, and a waste of your time.
