The Bodies We Live In

The body always exists within a certain space. This space can be either private or public. But where is the boundary between these two worlds, and does it differ for each of us? The documentary film Bodies We Live In explores this question through the meeting of Johanna and the Prague Roller Derby team, which since 2012 has been the first in the Czech Republic to devote itself to this women’s contact sport on track roller skates. Directed by Mady Berrenger and Lucie Onrubia-Muro, the film was made at the Belgian film school INSAS in collaboration with Prague’s FAMU.

Iverson

Iverson is the ultimate legacy of NBA legend Allen Iverson, who rose from a childhood of crushing poverty in Hampton, Virginia, to become an 11-time NBA All-Star and universally recognized icon of his sport. Off the court, his audacious rejection of conservative NBA convention and unapologetic embrace of hip hop culture sent shockwaves throughout the league and influenced an entire generation. Told largely in Iverson's own words, the film charts the career highs and lows of one of the most distinctive and accomplished figures the sport of basketball has ever seen.
