I did quite like the images of the mother gleefully braying as her young son managed to get water from an unwilling cactus and then befriend a floppy-eared white rabbit, but wasn’t really impressed with the standard of the drawing nor much about the rest of this story. Mum is trying to teach her offspring a few survival tips for life in the desert but when she takes a nap, he is lured away by a “Bluto”-esque prospector who wants to turn him into his beast of burden. What chance he can be rescued? What wouldn’t a patent do for it’s child - including stopping his horrendous “mama, mama” bleating at the start?
