Nako, Dako and Tsako are chimney sweeps. While working on the roof of an apartment block, they hear a cry for help. They take turns descending from the roof with a rope to see what is going on. In one of the apartments, Tsako sees a man shooting at a girl. Frightened, he pulls the rope and they drag him away. It's Draco's turn - the girl sees his feet through the window and faints. A Nako sees the fainted girl. The three decide to handle the case themselves and find the killer. Disguised as detectives, they end up in a prop warehouse where they find nothing. Deciding that the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime, they break into the bar located in the apartment block where Tsako recognizes the killer and overhears him setting a date for the singer from the restaurant…
