**_Over-the-top erotic thriller with Jeff Fahey and supernatural bits_** This is like “Fatal Attraction” on amphetamines mixed with a little “Rosemary’s Baby” and “The Devil’s Nightmare,” aka “The Devil Walks at Midnight.” But it’s the least of these due to its lack of subtlety and artistry. Meanwhile the cat is reminiscent of the Star Trek episode “Catspaw.” On the positive side, Fahey’s effective as the protagonist. I only remember him from “Psycho III,” and feel he should’ve gone on to greater success in the industry. On the feminine side of things, Heather Medway plays his wife. You might remember her from the Seinfeld episode “The (Roommate) Switch” released earlier the same year. As for Lisa Barbuscia (Lisa B) as Lillith, she comes across as a woman who thinks she’s more attractive than she really is. Don’t get me wrong, Lisa does fine in the challenging role, I just think someone more voluptuous would’ve worked better. It runs 1h 34m and was shot in May-Jun 1995 in Bucharest, Romania. The setting, however, is Los Angeles (although you can tell it’s eastern Europe). GRADE: C
