CinemaSerfJan 17, 2025With a recently deceased corpse laid out on a bed, a young girl wanders the extensive house where everyone is silent, or telling her to be silent. She arrives in his room and we slip to a more joyous series of flashbacks of her times with a man, her grandfather (?), with whom she clearly had fun. She decides she can find her own way to respect him - but perhaps not quite the way we expect! Certainly, not in the way her parents do! Shhh! It's perhaps not the liveliest of short features, but as it builds I found the critique it offers on our (religious) attitudes to death and the response to that from Laura Bispuri quite mischievously revelatory. It's worth seven whole minutes.
