The old Choi visits Byeong-Shik, or the second son and president of a trading company, but stays at an inn by his daughter-in-law's plot. The first son named Byeong-Ku borrows money with mortgage of his ancestral burial ground to expand gardening farm greatly, but is destined to give up the ancestral burial ground. So, the first son begs help from the second son, but is rejected. The old Choi feels much angry to hear such a thing from the first son so that he tells the second son to sever relation of father and son. The second son regrets his wrong doings and gives money to let the first son return the ground. But, the second son's wife does not regret her wrong doings, which makes her children not to respect her. Being troubled with children's rude attitude, she regrets her wrong doings and begs pardon from her father-in-law and husband.
