The Broken Embrace of the Mulberry Tree

"Malek-Khatoon”, influenced by religious teachings and Quranic science in her family, becomes fascinated with acting in women's performances at her father's house. With the help of the leader of one of these theatrical groups, she plans to escape from her home in Kashan and seek refuge in a mansion on the outskirts of Tehran. "Zarin-Taj”, a famous theater actress in the 1940s and 1950s, leaves her home and moves back to her father's house after the closure of theaters by authorities and the arrest of her husband. She had come to this house seeking tranquility but is confronted with a newly arrived letter from prison. "Homa”, who was based in a Team House due to her political and organizational activities, faces a raid by security forces and manages to escape. She arrives at the Safe House she was told about to find and eliminate a package.
