CinemaSerf7 May 14, 2026If you can imagine a world where the people are all forged from those metal coat hangers you get from the dry cleaners, then you're half way to appreciating this actually quite menacing short feature. It's all in the hats. That's how you can tell who's who when the lady and the gent part at the train station and she arrives at her hotel - to be met in her room by another boy with a perfectly folded flower. What's going on? Well when an unexpected visitor arrives at their hotel - wires might well end up somewhat more than crossed. I gather this was made on a laptop, but to be honest I couldn't have told you that by watching it - I just liked the simplicity of the story, the ultra-frugal design of the characters and the rather bleak - almost Orwellian - settings for this tryst with a twist. Well worth ten minutes.
