Dean extrapolated landscape images from 1920s Ford advertisements, leaving out the cars to focus on their representations of place and nature. She made the animation using a digital version of a multiplane camera technique employed in early Disney films to create an immersive and 3D illusion by separating two-dimensional images. One day, while out on a canter, the spirited horse stubbornly refuses to ford a stream, and becoming angry endeavors to throw his fair rider.

A wanted cattle thief risks imprisonment when he tries to help a sick rancher and his daughter. He takes the man into town to see a doctor, and he is recognized and arrested.

When The Man wanders in and wins at poker The Brute tries to fleece him of his winnings but loses everything when suddenly The Man catches sight of The Woman. He offers to stake his all on her and they play. The Man has four of a kind. The Brute has a gun. But The Man is a quicker draw and the pair escape across the desert. The Brute follows but when he is defeated in a showdown he wanders off into the desert to perish. The Man and The Woman embark on a new life.

Silver Bell, the winsome daughter of old Gray Wolf, is sought by Fleetfoot, a likely young man of the tribe and a good huntsman. The Broken Trestle is a silent action Western.

Irving Cummings stars in this tale of a Royal Canadian Mountie who is nursed back to health by a beautiful young girl after being attacked by thugs. One of the few surviving films starring Cummings, who would later become a successful director of films such as In Old Arizona (1928), Curly Top (1940) and That Night in Rio (1941).

The sheriff is in love with a beautiful widow. The widow has a brother who is in secret a rascal and a member of a gang of bandits.
