In an old träkåk in Haga, the somewhat threadbare collar district in Gothenburg, live stock dealer Albert Karlsson with his adult son Herbert. Interest in Christmas decorations and Christmas traditions are a little different shared between father and son and it gives rise to various small conflicts. Father Albert stands for the old goa traditional Christmas celebrations, while Herbert is more interested in bodybuilding and downhill. Ideally, he wants to go to any ski resort. Maybe they should think about celebrating each his own Christmas in opposite directions?

The Phoenix Team

The Phoenix Team was a Canadian drama series that aired on CBC Television in 1980. Starring Don Francks and Elizabeth Shepherd, the show featured eight one-hour adventure dramas centered on former spies drawn back into action by circumstance. Shepherd portrayed Valerie Koester, a British secret service agent who enlists the unofficial help of her ex-lover, David Brook, played by Francks. Once a top Canadian agent during the Cold War, Brook became disillusioned with high-tech espionage and was relegated to a desk job. Both Brook and Koester, known for their nonconformist attitudes, opposed the overly bureaucratic Graydon, played by Brian Linehan, and partnered with the sympathetic General, portrayed by Mavor Moore, head of the Canadian secret service.

Snub TV

Snub TV was an alternative culture television program that ran from 1987 to 1989. The original program, while made in the UK, was developed by American producer Fran Duffy and aired as part of the Night Flight variety show. In 1989-1991 a UK version aired for three seasons on the BBC, and was syndicated to the pan-European TV channel Super Channel and in other countries in Europe, such as Russia, Portugal, Denmark and Greece. Snub's main focus was on documenting musical groups such as The Stone Roses, with the UK version putting an emphasis on the indie and underground music scene in the UK during the rise of Madchester. The British series also featured other acts such as comedians. Snub TV has been credited with giving many then-new bands and musical acts initial and extra exposure to the major music business circles.

Break the Bank

Break the Bank is a game show created by Richard S. Kline. It aired in syndication from September 16, 1985 to May 23, 1986, with repeats airing until September 12. It was not related to two previous shows by the same name. The series debuted with Gene Rayburn as host, with Joe Farago taking over in December 1985. Kandace Kuehl was the co-host for the first three shows and was then replaced afterward with 1983 Miss USA winner Julie Hayek. Voice-over artist Michael Hanks was the announcer. Break the Bank was the first game show produced under the Kline & Friends production company, with former Barry & Enright director Richard S. Kline the executive producer and director of the series. Other former Barry & Enright staffers, including Gary Cox and D.A. Diana, also worked on this show.
