Antiques Psychic is a Canadian television series on Canada's Canadian Learning Television and Access Alberta, 2004 - 2005. Cancelled in January, 2006. The show was produced in Calgary, Alberta, and consisted of people bringing objects, not necessarily antiques, to the show's resident psychic, Kim Dennis, who then claims to communicate with the spirits of deceased family members. While there are many 'psychic' television shows available today, Antiques Psychic does not use re-creations, dramatizations, or actors. What the audience is witness to is an actual 'read' with very limited contact with the dead. Canadian celebrity Jann Arden was a guest.

Designer Superstar Challenge also known simply as Superstar Challenge is a show hosted by Karen Bertelsen on HGTV Canada that has had four seasons. Similar to the American series HGTV Design Star, the show features aspiring interior designers competing in a series of challenges, following which one contestant is named the "design superstar" at the end of the competition. It is the original "Superstar" themed show on HGTV, and went went on to inspire Handyman Superstar Challenge, Superstar Chef Challenge, and Superstar Hair Challenge.

COVERguy is a six-part Canadian television series created and produced by Giant Productions, hosted by Mathieu Chantelois originally broadcast on OUTtv in 2005. Thirty aspiring male models compete for $1000 cash, a fashion photoshoot, a one-year membership to Goodlife Fitness Club and the front cover of abOUT Magazine. Chantelois is accompanied by celebrity stylist Maha Rishi. Series One and Two were shot on location at Lüb Lounge, owned by one of the show's creators, in downtown Toronto, and is co-produced by Giant Productions. Season Two premiered Sunday, October 1, 2006. The winner was Gerry King, a dancer who also went on to win the Montreal-based Priape clothing model search in spring 2007. In Season Three, the location was changed to the Gladstone Hotel in the Toronto neighbourhood known as Queen Street West. Although the producers stated that they moved because the Gladstone was becoming a focal point for the young, chic demographic associated with Queen West, Lüb Lounge closed its doors the same summer. The first prize this year was also upgraded, to not only include the magazine cover and GoodLife membership, but the prestigious one-year contract as a model for Ginch Gonch underwear, based in Vancouver. Judges for the third series are model/entertainment reporter John Nightingale, transsexual actress & writer Nina Arsenault, and photographer Jim Armstrong.

The Buck Shot Show was a long-running local children's television series that aired on CFCN Television in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from 1967 to 1997. From 1967 to 1992 it was a daily program, airing at noon. From 1992 to 1997 it aired Saturday and Sunday mornings. At the time of its cancellation it was the longest-running children's TV show in Canadian history. The show's host, the avuncular, cowboy-hatted Buck Shot, was played by Calgary entertainer Ron Barge. Other characters included Benny the Bear, Clyde the Owl and Farley, all performed by puppeteers Jim Lewis and Phil Gordon-Cooper. Theme music for the series was "The Elephant Never Forgets", a playful version of Beethoven's "Turkish March" in 1967 by electronic music pioneers Perrey and Kingsley.

Roll Play is an interactive preschool children's television series produced by Sinking Ship Productions, known for This is Daniel Cook, This is Emily Yeung and Dino Dan for the Canadian Treehouse TV network. The series "tells" viewers to copy the actions shown on screen. Puppets are featured, and are played by the Famous People Players. A Spanish-dubbed version airs on V-me in the Americas.

Medical Intelligence is a Canadian TV show hosted by Terri Michael that has aired on G4techTV Canada, Rogers TV, and MSNBC since March 2003. It airs twice a week, examining two different topics that rely heavily on " personal stories and current medical trends such as plastic surgery and Botox injections" as its source of discussion.

First National was a Canadian television newscast, which aired on the Global Television Network's stations in Ontario and Manitoba from 1994 to 2001. It was also seen in Quebec after Global launched there in 1997. The program's anchor was Peter Kent. Although the newscast aired in only three provinces at most, its format was that of a national newscast, broadcasting national and international, rather than local, news. On February 9, 2001, following Global's acquisition of the WIC group of stations, First National aired its final broadcast. Global aired WIC's Canada Tonight in its place until Global National debuted on September 4. Kent then moved into a management role with the network; he later left broadcasting to pursue a career in Canadian politics.

Blue Rainbow was a Canadian Children's television series created and hosted by Lutia Lausane who was always dressed in a pink dress and told stories while playing her harp. Michael Kennard and John Turner played the clowns Dirk and Drock for three seasons. The series was broadcast on CBC in the 1980s until it was sold in 1989 to CanWest Global System who continued broadcasting it. The show ran for more than eighteen years in total.

The show was hosted by George Finstad then Mary Chapman and Laurie Jennings and produced by Doug Lower, Neil Andrews and Robert Hutt.

Traboulidon was a French language children's television show made in Quebec in the mid-1980s. Its stories revolved around the adventures of Philo and Bulle. Due to an accident, they were both trapped in a computer game of Philo's invention, and in every episode had to beat a "level" to try to advance further and finally be able to leave. Among various recurring characters, one would appear as different bad guys of the week but always having a name containing "nespa". Although they of course always recognised him, he never did or at least never acknowledged he knew them.

The Humber School of Media Studies, Television: Writing and Producing program developed by Lorne Frohman, created, produced, wrote, shot and edited the series. Music students from the Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts wrote, arranged, and performed the series' theme song. Distinguished Artists is the first network television show produced entirely by students of a college or university. It is produced by The Production League, a production company created by Executive Producer Brian Ainsworth and formed from graduate students of the Humber College Television Writing and Producing Program. Their proven successes to date include Distinguished Artists, School of Chef, The Bird Watcher, and King Kaboom.

Pamela Wallin Live was a Canadian interview series which aired on CBC Newsworld from 1995 to 1999. It was hosted by Pamela Wallin. Following her highly publicized firing from the CBC's Prime Time News in 1995, Wallin formed her own production company and launched the series. Instead of reporting or anchoring the news, Pamela Wallin Live featured Wallin interviewing newsmakers, celebrities and other figures in a format similar to CNN's Larry King Live. The show quickly proved to be one of Newsworld's most popular offerings, and in some seasons was repeated the following afternoon on the CBC's main network as well. In 1998, Newsworld moved the series to a different time slot, and the show no longer aired live. Its title was changed at that time to simply Pamela Wallin. In 1999, Wallin moved the series to CTV's new specialty channel TalkTV, where it became Pamela Wallin's TalkTV. It aired there until 2002, when Wallin accepted a diplomatic posting as Canada's Consul General in New York City.
