He was replaced by Amber MacArthur on departure, and soon after Jee-Yun Lee took over, when MacArthur resigned. Jee-Yun Lee once again resigned from Home Page in 2009 and was replaced by Omar Sachedina. CTV announced that Home Page would end with its last broadcast on October 7, 2009, and therefore being replaced by new show, Webnation effective October 14, 2009.

Hosted by Heather Conkie, this 1978 Canadian television children's program was modeled after a news program. Conkie sat at a desk in front of a big map of Canada, and provided historical, geographical, and social information about the country. The show also featured drawings or posters that were sent in by viewers. The program was aired on TVOntario; it succeeded an earlier show that was also hosted by Conkie, and which was called Report Metric, that helped to teach children the Metric system to which Canada was converting at the time.

The Telecast Show was a Zimmer Twins short mini series until due to the low audience, it was cancelled. Although, the shows were posted on the Zimmer Twins website until it was decided to be cancelled. Also, the .ca website was closed to move all of the portions to the .com website. Due to the fact it was closed and the website was moved, the series can no longer air on the .ca website. The .com website requires membership-access in order to get exclusive clips, sounds, actions, etc.

Ce soir, on chante was the working title of the French-language singing competition television series L'heure de gloire. The series premise is close to Simon Cowell's Duets: three actors/artists/politicians will appear in each episode, singing a song, with the help of professional singers. The program was hosted by René Simard. The series also highlight a newcomer to the Québec music scene, who one of the coaching professional singers have chosen. The show was broadcast by Radio-Canada from fall 2006 to spring 2008.

In Opposition was a Canadian television sitcom, which aired on CBC Television in 1989. The show lasted only a single season. It starred Kathleen Laskey as Karen Collier, a rookie Member of Parliament, who represented the fictional riding of Moncton—Macquedewawa for the also-fictional Dominion Party of Canada. Toby was a Canadian sitcom, which aired on CBC Television in the 1968-69 television season. The show starred Susan Petrie as Toby Mitchell, a teenage girl juggling her family life and her friendship with Quebec exchange student J. J. Roberge. The show also starred Arch McDonnell and Micki Moore as Toby's parents, and Peter Young as her younger brother Mark. Although the show aired during a period of great social change, the show was somewhat of a throwback to an earlier era, depicting Toby as relatively innocent and traditional. The Toronto Star described the show as "Canada's own Gidget". Petrie herself commented to the Star that "Toby is supposed to be the perfect teenager. I'm not sure I believe her yet.... You know, I would like to tell it like it is. Toby is the type of girl who will go to college, marry the guy she meets in English 345, arrange flowers, be a good hostess — and raise more Tobys." The show was not particularly successful, and was not renewed for a second season.

Maggie Muggins moved to CBC Television to air between September 29, 1955 and June 27, 1962. Maggie Muggins is a freckle-faced girl in a gingham dress, with her red hair pulled back in two long pigtails who had adventures with many human-like animals and her neighbour Mr. McGarrity, who constantly worked on his garden. The television series was adapted from previous media including radio and print.

The Mike Bullard Show was a Canadian late-night talk show which aired weeknights at 12:05 AM on Global from November 24, 2003 to March 11, 2004. The show was hosted by comedian Mike Bullard and taped at the Global Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. The show's executive producers were David Asper, and, from December onward, Dave Rosen. The short lived show maintained almost exactly the same format as Bullard's previous successful show, Open Mike with Mike Bullard, which had ended its six-year run only five months earlier. Despite this, The Mike Bullard Show was a ratings disaster. On average, the programme lost more than 50% of the audience that Open Mike had averaged in its final season, and was cancelled after 12 weeks.

Star Racer is a reality-genre TV show which originally aired on Discovery Channel Canada in 2006. KayvonTV is a Canadian television series that features the real life adventures of Kayvon Zahedi. KayvonTV has been featured on MTV, CBC and Global in Canada. KayvonTV was originally launched on the internet via the KayvonTV website, and KayvonTV YouTube account. Let's Go was a daily CBC Television entertainment series aired during the 1967-1968 season, featuring musical guests. It was the successor to Music Hop, and the show's title was taken from the Vancouver segment of Music Hop. Each day's episode featured local talent from a different city, moving across the country from east to west: Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver. Anne Murray appeared on the Halifax show, before she achieved huge popularity with "Snowbird". The Winnipeg show was hosted by Chad Allan, the former frontman for The Guess Who. The Guess Who, fronted by Burton Cummings, played as the house band in Winnipeg.

The Fabulous Sixties was a 10-part Canadian television documentary miniseries narrated by Peter Jennings. Each episode featured a year from the 1960s. The programmes were produced by Philip Hobel and Douglas Leiterman under the production units Hobel-Leiterman Productions and Document Associates. The duo then produced the regular-season series Here Come the Seventies and Target: The Impossible for CTV. The first episode aired on CTV 12 October 1969 with the following episodes broadcast as occasional specials into 1970. The series was released on DVD 24 April 2007 by MPI Home Video.

ACTS-TV - Aboriginal Christian Television is a Christian daily broadcast show and the founding program of Cree Cable Channel 66 based in Moose Factory, Ontario Canada. Created in 2007 by Rev. Derrick Anderson, it first aired on June 15, 2007 from the Moose Factory Pentecostal Church. The broadcast airs on Moose Cree Cable channel 66 throughout the south-west coast of James Bay, as well as on the ACTS-TV website on the internet. ACTS-TV is "Spirit Led, Spirit Powered".

10% QTV is a Canadian television newsmagazine series, which aired on Rogers Television stations in Ontario from 1995 to 2001. It was the first multiseason television series in Canada targeted specifically to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, being preceded only by the short-run documentary series Coming Out in 1972. The series first aired in 1995 as Cable 10%, and adopted the 10% QTV name in 1997. The series was produced in Toronto by a volunteer committee. It aired documentary and feature reports on LGBT life and news in Canada and internationally, including an annual episode airing highlights from the Toronto Pride Parade. The series aired on all Rogers community channels in Southern and Eastern Ontario. Following the end of the series, the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives took over the program's website, incorporating it into the CLGA's own website.

True Pulp Murder is a 30-minute documentary series that examines real murder cases from the point of view of the detectives who investigated them with commentary from actual murder mystery authors, while being told in a graphic novel style.

Da Kink in My Hair is a play by Trey Anthony, which debuted at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2001. The play's central character is Novelette, the Caribbean Canadian owner of Letty's, a Toronto hair salon. Novelette is forced to confront her goals and ideals in life when she receives news that her onetime boyfriend Cedric, who loaned her the money to open the salon, has died and his daughter Verena is demanding repayment of the loan. The play subsequently expanded to Theatre Passe-Muraille in 2003, and was nominated for four Dora Awards. Mirvish Productions then underwrote a larger production at the Princess of Wales Theatre in 2005. The show has also been produced at the San Diego Repertory Theatre in San Diego, and at the Hackney Empire in London.

Celebrity Cooks was a Canadian cooking show independently produced by Initiative Productions and aired on CBC Television from 1975 to 1979 and on Global from 1980 to 1984. It was syndicated throughout Canada and the United States from 1980 to 1989. It was hosted by Bruno Gerussi who introduced various celebrities who chatted with them while preparing dishes for the audience. As such, it was considered a hybrid between a cooking show and a talk show. Despite a shoestring budget, the show was a high quality product. It was criticized for its apparent inability to get more than strictly minor celebrities for the show, although it was still a highly rated program at the time. The show was taped in Vancouver, British Columbia, concurrently with Gerrussi's starring role in The Beachcombers which was also filmed in the vicinity. Due to his visibility on Celebrity Cooks, Gerrussi became the pitchman for one of the first brands of microwave ovens to be sold for home use in Canada. Among the guests who appeared on the show was a pre-stardom David Letterman. According to the book TV North, guests were paid between $196 CAD and $350 CAD. American performers were paid more to offset the cost of higher travel expenses.

University of the Air was a daily distance education television program seen early mornings on the CTV Television Network in Canada between 1966 and 1983; prior to the establishment of 24-hour broadcasting, in most regions it was the first program aired each day, usually at 5:30 or 6 a.m., though it would also turn up at other times. Each episode consisted of a lecture given by a university instructor. Individual episodes of this series were produced locally by CTV affiliates nationwide, for nationwide broadcast on the CTV network. Previous lectures of this series was also broadcast on TVO and CHCH-TV Hamilton, both as part of TVO's educational television schedule. It was best remembered for its opening/closing title sequence, consisting of a black-bordered hexagonal kaleidoscope background and eerie electronic theme music.

Fanfreluche was a French-language Canadian children's television show made in Quebec by Radio-Canada. The show made its debut in 1968 and ran for forty-six episodes until 1971. It starred Fanfreluche, a living doll who retold fairy tales and legends to the viewers. When the story went a way that displeased her, she would physically enter it to "fix" the ending which sometimes put her in a perilous situation. The character of Fanfreluche had its debut in another Radio-Canada children's show called La Boîte à surprise. From the character in this show, prominent Montreal businessman and Thoroughbred horse breeder Jean-Louis Lévesque named one of his fillys Fanfreluche. Believed to have used the name to please a grandchild, Levesque's filly became a Canadian and United States champion racehorse in 1970.

The Real Lost World is a documentary, released on December 10, 2006 by Animal Planet, where a team of scientists journey to Monte Roraima in Venezuela, the plateau that inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's literary work, The Lost World. They investigate the legend. The film was written and directed by Peter von Puttkamer and produced by Gryphon Productions. The documentary won awards from WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival for Best Cinematography and from the Accolade Television Awards Best of Show in Directing and Cinematography.
