Miu Chun (Gallen Lo) was once diagnosed with cancer, and became really depressed. Cheung Ka-Ka (Tracy Ip), a nurse, comforted him and later became his girlfriend. Soon after he recovered, the two adopted a cat, Can Can, and a dog, 大巴 (Dai Ba). One day 大巴 ran across a road, Ka-Ka tried to rescue the dog from an oncoming car but died in the accident herself. From that day on Chun hated dogs and abandoned Dai Ba. Chow Chi-Yu (Myolie Wu) found 大巴 wandering on the streets and brought him back to her father's kennel. However, 大巴 carried a deadly virus and killed all the dogs at the kennel. Since then, Yu's father became employed with the pound to catch abandoned dogs. Her brother, Chow Chi-Jim (David Lui), and sister-in-law, Shui Tin-Lan (Margie Tsang) opened a pet shop to earn money for the family.

South Pacific is a British nature documentary series from the BBC Natural History Unit, which began airing on BBC Two on 10 May 2009. The six-part series surveys the natural history of the islands of the South Pacific region, including many of the coral atolls and New Zealand. It was filmed entirely in high-definition. South Pacific was co-produced by the Discovery Channel and the series producer was Huw Cordey. It is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. Filming took place over 18 months in a variety of remote locations around the Pacific including: Anuta, Banks Islands, French Frigate Shoals, Papua New Guinea, Palmyra, Kingman Reef, Tuvalu, Palau, Caroline Islands, Tuamotus and Tanna Island in Vanuatu. On 6 May 2009, BBC Worldwide released a short clip of big wave surfer Dylan Longbottom surfing in slow motion, high-definition footage as a preview of the series, attracting extremely positive reactions on the video sharing website YouTube. The series was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 15 June 2009. At the end of each fifty-minute episode, a ten-minute featurette takes a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges of filming the series. The series was released by Discovery International in the USA under the title Wild Pacific, with narration provided by Mike Rowe.

The concept of the show is for a family or group who are in need of funds to sell items from around their home at a car boot sale, in order to raise the desired amount of money. The show is presented by Lorne Spicer, who can also be seen on daytime show Money Spinners and recently on BBC's My Life For Sale'. She is joined by valuer Mark Franks and from time to time Paul Hayes, who also presents the show by himself when Lorne is not available. The show is made by Leopard Films, who also make Cash in the Attic.

The show is filmed in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario. Testees is now showing on FX in the UK, I.Sat in Brazil and Comedy Central in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. After one season, Testees was not renewed by FX.

The series focuses on the life of student Alex Degenhardt, who deals with everyday life and sometimes frustrating friends, Claudia and Niko, as well as her family; her little brother Basti and her Hippie-parents Hendrik and Anke. A sixth Season was produced in 2006 but not shown until late 2009. It is also telecast in Finland by Nelonen, in France and in Spain.

De Lama's is a Dutch television show made by BNN and first aired on 26 June 2004. It is an adaptation of the Channel 4 show Whose Line is it Anyway?. Patrick Lodiers hosts the show, which contains both well-known and more obscure elements of theatresports. The most important of these is improvisation. De Lama's consist of the following comedians: Ruben Nicolai, Tijl Beckand, Ruben van der Meer and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge. Jandino Asporaat, Ad-Just Bouwman, Sara Kroos, Arie Koomen, Kristel Zweers and Martijn Oosterhuis are ex-Lama's. Other than in the British and American series, every episode of De Lama's features a Guest Llama, a well-known Dutch person who offers suggestions for games and always joins the regulars for one or two games at the end. At the end of 2006, regulars Sara Kroos and Arie Koomen left the show, leaving it with only three regular performers. To help alleviate this problem, broadcaster BNN organised a televised competition, Lama Gezocht, in order to find a new performer to round out the team. Ad-Just Bouwman eventually won this competition, and joined the Llamas. He, however, is no longer part of the troupe, reportedly because his artistic style didn't fit in with the other Llamas. Another recently 'llamafied' performer, Jandino Asporaat, left at around the same time to focus on his own theatre production, although rumour has it that his style clashed with the remaining three members as well. Jeroen van Koningsbrugge is the only new member to remain with the Llamas until the end.

Philip has banned any use of magic in the house, yet the girls and Adil the Genie find ways to get themselves into trouble using Adil's wish granting powers. The mother is never mentioned, except on Adil's birthday when Philip mentions being a widower. As of March 2012, Genie in the House is now airing on the Starz Kids & Family cable network.

Unexpectedly, there was an accidental shooting case, and all efforts were in vain. Zhan Peng was even more unconvinced. On the other hand, Jia Ming, a police academy graduate, met the courier Jianer (played by Myolie Wu), and Jianer is Chengtian’s half-sister, but they still don’t know. Later, Jia Ming was found when he kindly helped his classmates enter the police school database to falsify their grades and was dismissed.

Red Cap is a British television drama series produced by Stormy Pictures for the BBC and broadcast on BBC One. Two series of six episodes each were produced following a feature length pilot. It featured the investigations of an Special Investigation Branch unit of the British Army based in Germany. Ostensibly the lead character was Sergeant Jo McDonagh, played by Tamzin Outhwaite, but the show was more of an ensemble piece, with several notable characters coming to prominence.

Barbara wants Patricija keeps an eye on David, who is a famous bachelor and womanizer. Nina gains the job of David's confidant secretary.

Celebrity Poker Showdown is a celebrity game show on the cable network Bravo. It was a limited-run series in which celebrities played poker, and ran eight tournaments during its five-season run. In each show, five celebrities played a no limit Texas hold 'em tournament for charity. The winners of each qualifying game won a silver commemorative poker chip and advanced to the championship game. The winner of the championship game won the grand prize for his or her charity as well as a gold commemorative poker chip. Each tournament featured 25 celebrities and consisted of six episodes, five qualifying games and one championship game. In an interview with TV Guide, host Dave Foley said that a ninth tournament is not being produced, as Bravo did not order any new episodes.
