Miu Chun (Gallen Lo) was once diagnosed with cancer, and became really depressed. Cheung Ka-Ka (Tracy Ip), a nurse, comforted him and later became his girlfriend. Soon after he recovered, the two adopted a cat, Can Can, and a dog, 大巴 (Dai Ba). One day 大巴 ran across a road, Ka-Ka tried to rescue the dog from an oncoming car but died in the accident herself. From that day on Chun hated dogs and abandoned Dai Ba. Chow Chi-Yu (Myolie Wu) found 大巴 wandering on the streets and brought him back to her father's kennel. However, 大巴 carried a deadly virus and killed all the dogs at the kennel. Since then, Yu's father became employed with the pound to catch abandoned dogs. Her brother, Chow Chi-Jim (David Lui), and sister-in-law, Shui Tin-Lan (Margie Tsang) opened a pet shop to earn money for the family.

South Pacific is a British nature documentary series from the BBC Natural History Unit, which began airing on BBC Two on 10 May 2009. The six-part series surveys the natural history of the islands of the South Pacific region, including many of the coral atolls and New Zealand. It was filmed entirely in high-definition. South Pacific was co-produced by the Discovery Channel and the series producer was Huw Cordey. It is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. Filming took place over 18 months in a variety of remote locations around the Pacific including: Anuta, Banks Islands, French Frigate Shoals, Papua New Guinea, Palmyra, Kingman Reef, Tuvalu, Palau, Caroline Islands, Tuamotus and Tanna Island in Vanuatu. On 6 May 2009, BBC Worldwide released a short clip of big wave surfer Dylan Longbottom surfing in slow motion, high-definition footage as a preview of the series, attracting extremely positive reactions on the video sharing website YouTube. The series was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 15 June 2009. At the end of each fifty-minute episode, a ten-minute featurette takes a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges of filming the series. The series was released by Discovery International in the USA under the title Wild Pacific, with narration provided by Mike Rowe.

Big & Small is a co-production between Kindle Entertainment and 3J's Productions produced in association with the BBC, Treehouse TV, and Studio 100. The first series was deemed a success worldwide and a second series was commissioned by the BBC. The show is a live action comedy for preschoolers, and follows the lives of puppets. The concept of the show is for a family or group who are in need of funds to sell items from around their home at a car boot sale, in order to raise the desired amount of money. There are times when there is an antique too good for the boot sale, so coverage of a family member taking an item to a specialist is often shown. The show is presented by Lorne Spicer, who can also be seen on daytime show Money Spinners and recently on BBC's My Life For Sale'. She is joined by valuer Mark Franks and from time to time Paul Hayes, who also presents the show by himself when Lorne is not available. The show is made by Leopard Films, who also make Cash in the Attic.

The Mike and Thomas Show is a Dutch television comedy panel game broadcast on Nederland 3. It is created and presented by the cabaret performers Mike Boddé and Thomas van Luyn. The television program looks like the BBC show Shooting Stars; it is also a parody of the game show format and the setting of the show is the same. A difference is that the show is presented from behind two grand pianos. The first series was broadcast in 2005, the second in 2006 and the third in 2007. The Oliver Pocher Show is a late-night show with Oliver Pocher shown by Sat.1 in Germany on Fridays. The show is a mix of late-night comedy and personality. Each broadcast begins with stand-up comedy. There are generally two celebrity guests. During the first season, Pocher's father Gerard frequently appeared on the show as a sidekick. It is recorded early on Friday evenings in the old Residenz Theater in Köln. For special occasions there are also live shows. The first season began in October 2009 and ended in April 2010. The second season will begin on 27 August 2010. Pocher and Johannes B. Kerner where both contracted by SAT.1 as white hopes to put an end to severe losses of quotas after several years. Instead both of them attract disappointingly few viewers - long contract periods protect them from cancellations. However, there have been significant changes on the concept of the show: the typical late night desk was replaced by a couch, the band by a female DJ, Pocher's father by two nasty baby puppets who acted as sidekicks for several months. The show is still undercutting the low quotas and shares of cheap comedy reruns which currently fill most earlier time slots on SAT.1's Friday evening. The so called Fun Freitag is famous for his series of spectacular failures - Pocher's former show partner and German late night legend Harald Schmidt warned him about that in several interviews. Schmidt himself continued his show, the Harald Schmidt Show in autumn 2011. The last episode of Oliver Pocher Show aired in March 2011.

The Jamie Kennedy Experiment is a half-hour-long American hidden camera/practical joke reality television series that was broadcast on The WB. The host and star of the show is Jamie Kennedy, a comedian who presented a reality TV format which combined hidden camera with sketch comedy. The show was cancelled in April 2004 after having failing ratings on The WB. It was then picked up by the G4 network for syndication in October 2006.

The show daily got high TRPs. The show started in Serbia on RTV Pink on December 17, 2012. The show now airs on Dangal and Rishtey.
