Kamiya Goro used to work as a detective at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Due to a case, he was demoted to the police station on Izu Oshima. He has now worked on the island for the past 2 and a half years. One day, Kamiya Goro receives an order to join a special team of detectives from other prefectures unconnected to a complicated case of false charges related to the Kanagawa Prefectural Police. However, they are all detectives with flaws and guilty conscience. With the credibility of the policy at stake, the team begins to get to the bottom of the matter.
