Génies en herbe was a Radio-Canada television program in which students representing their école secondaire participated in trivia tournaments. Tournaments also took place in French-speaking communities outside Quebec, such as Saint Boniface, Manitoba. Reach for the Top is an English Canadian equivalent. After the end of the TV series the tournaments continued under the aegis of several regional school organizations. Recently, the show was started once more on Radio-Canada in a pan-Canadian format. This newer version is called "Génies en herbe: l'aventure" in which four teams travel around Canada to discover seven different cities. The quiz is then heavily oriented on the culture and history of the cities visited in the current episode. The four teams are the Maritimes, Ontario, Québec and the West of Canada.

La Fureur is a French music game show, first aired by France 2 in Summer 1996. Created by French television personality Arthur, the show features two teams of celebrity contestants, segregated by gender, playing various music-related games and stunts. One notable element of La Fureur is its karaoke feature, where viewers at home are invited to sing along with the contestants, and even musical guests, by singing to the lyrics displayed on the screen. After its short run on France 2, TF1 picked up the series later in 1996, and carried it through December 31, 2000. Arthur was the host for both the France 2 and TF1 series. Many episodes are generally 120 to 145 minutes in length. The show was revived by music channel W9 in 2007, as La Fureur, le retour. Alexandre Devoise was the host of this new version. Unlike the original run, le retour does not include a karaoke feature—only questions pertaining to music.

My Fabulous Gay Wedding is a Canadian reality show hosted by comedian Scott Thompson in the first season and Elvira Kurt in the second. The series airs on the Global Television Network. It is re-broadcast in the U.S. as First Comes Love, on Logo. In the first season, the show features a same-sex couple that plans to marry; the arrangements for the wedding are prepared, on two weeks' notice, by a team of wedding planners who are both heterosexual and homosexual. As with typical, Western heterosexual weddings, the general idea is to create a unique experience that reflects the personality of the people to be wed, while adding a special gay sensibility. The spirit of the program is one of fun. In the second season, with new host Elvira Kurt, the stories concentrate more on the couples than the wedding planning process. The team of wedding planners has been reduced to one: Fern Cohen. This season debuted on Logo in February 2007. Through interviews with the family members, the show also explores the issue of same-sex marriage and its effect on the social fabric.

The Agenda with Steve Paikin is the flagship current affairs program of TVOntario, Ontario’s public broadcaster. The show practises what anchor and senior editor Steve Paikin calls "long-form" journalism. Each hour-long program tackles no more than two topics, and often only one. "We give people what they tell us they want: more intelligent analysis, and more robust, thought-provoking debate and discussion among newsmakers and experts," Paikin says. The show airs weekdays on TVO at 8 and 11 pm. Content is available on demand online at tvo.org and through mobile media. During the 2007 Ontario provincial election campaign, The Agenda provided extensive coverage, with leaders discussing and debating their parties' platforms, candidates from across the province talking about concerns in their regions and the people of Ontario acting as citizen correspondents, speaking up about issues in their home town. The Agenda plans a similar exercise for the 2011 Ontario provincial election.

They also released two videos - "KIDEO In Concert" and a KIDEO puppet video entitled "The Puppetual World Of Rock And Roll".
