Taste Buds is a Canadian children's television series, produced for TVOntario by partners/Executive Producers Mark Bishop and Matt Hornburg of Toronto's marblemedia, which premiered in 2008 and is currently in its third season. At the 2010 Gemini Awards, marblemedia took home the company's first-ever Gemini, for Taste Buds season 2, in the category of "Best Cross-Platform Production - Children's and Youth." Taste Buds is a kids cooking show geared to kids aged 7–10, that teaches children to think about what they eat and explore new foods from around the world. The two young hosts, Avery and Lily, cook recipes that are easy for kids to make by themselves or with a bit of grown up help. The episodes follow Avery and Lily as they lead viewers on new taste adventures exploring the culture, history, science and art behind different foods. Also helping out in the kitchen is their adult co-host Matt, a chef and fellow Taste Bud who is passionate about food and eager to share his expert knowledge. It also stars other kids that help out and try foods on every episode. The most notable kid is Andrew Young.

Félix et Ciboulette was a French language children's television show made in Quebec City, Quebec. It aired from 1985 to 1989. It was an educational series that aired from Monday to Friday on Télévision de Radio-Canada. Each segment lasted fifteen minutes and revolved around handyman Félix and his female cat Ciboulette. During each episode, Félix would teach Ciboulette about various things, ranging from history to science to agriculture. Although the show targeted children, the depth of educational content was beneficial even to the adult viewer. Other characters that sometimes appeared were the neighbour's black dog Noiraud Picard, a rural friend Raymond and his cousin, Ève. Apart from its educational content, Félix et Ciboulette promoted neighbourly behaviour, as well as understanding and tolerance for everyone. Both Félix and Ciboulette enjoyed dressing up to play tricks on each other, making the show pleasant as well as educational. In between segments played various short cartoons.

Nite Lite Live is a Christian nightly television open-line call-in show in Canada hosted by Paul Willoughby. It is a programme on the Crossroads Television System. The show is 2½ hours long, commercial-free, from 2 A.M. to 4:30 A.M. EST. Nite Lite Live used to air seven days a week, 365 days a year. But, due to the 2009 economic recession the show was cut back to five days a week with re-runs being shown on the weekends. There are also frequent guest hosts. People can call in and can talk to the host about any questions and/or concerns they may have in their lives; they can also ask questions regarding Christianity or the Bible; and they can also ask for prayer. There also tends to be a certain theme or question of the night which callers can comment on. Hosts include, Pastor Paul Willoughby, Pastor Dominic Vitale, Pastor Jamal and Pam, and many others. The call screener is Neal, who will notify you upon calling that there is a '10 second delay', so in the even you swear, your cursing will be censored this is in response to a number of atheists prank calling the station and uploading to YouTube.

Ombudsman was a Canadian television programme which sought to investigate and resolve disputes between people and government or business systems. When the series began, government ombudsman offices were only available in a few Canadian provinces. The initial Ombudsman episodes began mid-season in January 1974 and were broadcast fortnightly, sharing its Sunday night time slot with In the Present Tense. Beginning with the fall 1974 season, CBC aired the series most weeks. Lawyer Robert M. Cooper was the program's host until 1979 when he shifted his attention to film production. Kathleen Ruff was his successor in the final season. By the time CBC cancelled the series, nearly all Canadian provincial governments had opened ombudsman offices.

Spellz was a 2006 - 2008 magic series featuring famed magician Jay Sankey. Produced by GAPC Entertainment in partnership with TVO Kids, with the participation of Knowledge Network, SCN and the Canadian Television Fund, Spellz was created by Hoda Elatawi, Mike Erskine-Kellie, Jay Sankey and David Peck. The show was directed by Ron Allen, written by Susan McLennan, and executive produced by Ken Stewart. In Spellz, Bridget Hall plays "Bridget, the Amazing Kid Assistant", the only other recurring person on the series, beside Sankey. There were kid segments for a second season of the program were in production during March 2007, however the scenes with Sankey and Hall were filmed in May; there are 26 episodes in Season 1, airing since September 2006, and there are 26 episodes in Season 2, which began September 2007. Both are available on DVD. In 2007, Spellz won the Certificate for Creative Excellence in Communications at the U.S. International Film and Video Festival and the Remi award at the The Houston International Film Festival in 2008.
