Dieppe is a two-part Canadian television mini-series that aired on CBC Television in 1993. It was based on the book Unauthorized Action: Mountbatten and the Dieppe Raid by Brian Loring Villa. The series chronicled the events that led up to the infamous World War II Dieppe Raid on August 19, 1942, which resulted in 3,367 Canadian troopers either being captured, wounded or killed. It was criticized for not being completely accurate, and overdramatizing the events that took place.

Dust Up was a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment and Prairie Threat Entertainment that aired on History Television. The series follows three crop dusters in Nipawin, Saskatchewan as they compete for work and mount sometimes-perilous crop dusting expeditions. Each plane is outfitted with four cameras to capture the action.

Size Small was a Canadian children's television series first produced in 1982. Written by and starring the Lumby family, characters included Miss Helen, Oliver, Grandma Gussie, Tex, and Friend Record, a giant record who plays the spoons. Other characters included puppets such as Hatchet, Renfrew, Gasper, Cooter and the triplets Webster, Dee Dee and Tug. The show was a huge hit in Canada and around the world; it also aired on some PBS member stations in the United States, at least during 1987. Spin-offs included Size Small Country and Size Small Island. A Size Small Christmas special was also produced in 1984. Size Small was originally produced in Winnipeg, Manitoba at CKND-TV. The show's production would later move in 1987 to CFSK-TV in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; when CFSK and its sister station in Regina, CFRE-TV, first went on the air on September 6, 1987, Helen Lumby hosted a 30-minute special "signing on" broadcast that was the first program aired on both stations. Approximately 16 Size Small records were produced, featuring songs performed on the show. They were advertised at the end of every episode of the TV show, where they could be purchased by mail order.

The show premiered on June 11, 2007 in North America with the first episode of the series: "Coast Guard", directed by Phil Comeau. This Movie Sucks! is a Canadian comedy television series hosted by Ed the Sock, premièring on May 28, 2010, two years after Ed's Night Party went off the air. The show is similar to another former Ed the Sock series, Ed's Nite In. This Movie Sucks! features his Night Party co-host, Liana Kerzner and another MuchMusic personality, comedian Ron Sparks. Currently being produced and broadcast by CHCH-TV Hamilton, it is also being shown on CJNT-TV Montreal and CHEK-TV Victoria, as well as Movieola and Silver Screen Classics. A third season of This Movie Sucks! is under development. It will feature six new one hour episodes, as the cast stated that the original two hour format was "killing" them. Reruns will cease on CHCH-TV until that time, although they still will be played on other channels. New films will include Raiders of Lost Atlantis and The Wild Weng, a film that like the previously featured The Impossible Kid stars Filipino actor Weng Weng.

The 100 Mile Challenge is a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment and aired on Food Network Canada. The series follows the lives and eating habits of six families living in Mission, British Columbia who, for a period of 100 days, agreed to only consume food and drink that has been grown, raised and produced within a 100-mile radius from Mission. The series is based on the concept of local food consumption as described in the book The 100-Mile Diet authored by J.B. MacKinnon and Alisa Smith where the two authors describe their experience of eating locally for one full year. To coincide with the premiere of the series, FoodTV.ca launched a companion website that Canwest described as "the largest, most innovative and interactive companion website to a series to date". After the series' initial run was concluded, it was announced that the global distribution rights to both the format and the program were acquired by the British company Passion Distribution after which Discovery Communications' Planet Green acquired the rights to broadcast the series in the United States. The success of the series has also inspired other communities in Canada to organize similar challenges.

Harriet's Magic Hats was a Canadian television series created by ACCESS TV, which aired on Alberta ACCESS TV and TVOntario from 1980 - 1986. The premise of the show was that an aunt named Harriet has a trunk full of magic hats in her attic. When her young niece wears a hat from the truck she is transported to a place related to the hat. For example, if she wore a chef's hat from the trunk, the girl was transported to a kitchen with professional chefs, where she would learn about the profession. The show was 15 minutes long, and gave children a diverse view of the working world.

ACTS-TV - Aboriginal Christian Television is a Christian daily broadcast show and the founding program of Cree Cable Channel 66 based in Moose Factory, Ontario Canada. Created in 2007 by Rev. Derrick Anderson, it first aired on June 15, 2007 from the Moose Factory Pentecostal Church. The broadcast airs on Moose Cree Cable channel 66 throughout the south-west coast of James Bay, as well as on the ACTS-TV website on the internet. ACTS-TV is "Spirit Led, Spirit Powered".

Catch Up was a children's television series which aired on CBC Television in Canada during the 1978-1979 season. Although the series did not continue past its first year, its hosts would proceed to careers of international scope: ⁕Margot Pinvidic continued acting on various movie and television productions. ⁕Catch Up's music segments were performed by the Christopher Ward Band, whose namesake would become one of MuchMusic's first VJs. The Zimmer Twins is a Canadian children's website and broadcast animation project. The project was created by producer Jason Krogh and artist Aaron Leighton and is produced through Lost the Plot Productions Inc. A selection of the user-generated episodes is produced into broadcast shorts and air on Teletoon. Les Jumeaux Zimmer is the French-language version of the show and website. The Zimmer Twins is known for its unique format which combines online participation and broadcast delivery. Children are invited to create and share 1-minute animated episodes using a story editor and library of animation. The audience creates endings to short, professionally produced story-starters. Kids tell their stories by choosing actions, characters, props and backgrounds. They can also add their own dialog and on-screen text. New clips are occasionally added. The original Zimmer Twins website launched on March 14, 2005, with the show first airing on Teletoon in May. A total of 60 broadcast spots were produced and broadcast in the 2005/2006 season. By the end of the first season over 100,000 user-created episodes were created by over 50,000 registered members. A major revision of the site was launched July 1, 2006. A total of 120 broadcast episodes were broadcast in the 2006/2007 season and 32 more were broadcast in 2008. The site's population passed 200 000 on November 5, 2011.
