Who Killed Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler? is an Australian documentary film about the mysterious deaths of Dr Gilbert Bogle and Mrs Margaret Chandler in Sydney, Australia in 1963. Although it was assumed the couple were murdered, police investigators could find or produce no evidence that it was actually murder. The documentary, directed and written by Australian documentary film maker Peter Butt, presents unique evidence to suggest the couple died from hydrogen sulphide poisoning emanating from a river.

Decadence: The Meaninglessness of Modern Life is a six-part television documentary series commissioned by SBS Independent and produced by Fork Films. The series is hosted by Pria Viswalingam, who is best known for his work on the travel show A fork in the road. Decadence was originally broadcast on the Special Broadcasting Service of Australia in 2006 in the form of six, thirty-minute-long episodes. It was rescreened again in 2007 as part of the SBS season on globalisation. The series examines the decadence and meaninglessness of modern, western life. It is also poses the question: If we live in such a great and prosperous world, and we are living longer, better, and healthier than before, why are we so unhappy?. There are interviews with many prominent experts and leaders in their fields throughout the series.

Crash Investigation Unit is an Australian factual television series on the Seven Network hosted by Damian Walshe-Howling. The series premiered on 27 August 2008. The series follows the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit to uncover the causes behind a car crash. The program is similar to New Zealand's SCU: Serious Crash Unit, which has previously aired on Seven to strong ratings. So far the series has attracted an average of 1.3 million viewers. On 22 September 2008, Channel Seven confirmed it had commissioned a second series of Crash Investigation Unit.

Kid Detectives is an Australian children's TV program shown on the Seven Network. The show uncovers forensic mysteries in a way that is educational and fun to children and began airing on 7 August 2009. The program is hosted by Stephen Multari and Shae Brewster. The series is based on the book Crime Scene Detectives published by Dorling Kindersley. Kid Detectives use hands-on forensic skills to solve mysteries big and small at home. Kids become forensic super sleuths by following the do-it-yourself activities at home. Kids learn to assess and reconstruct a crime scene, collate evidence, analyse clues and eliminate suspects.

Dirty Jobs was a reality/factual program on the Nine Network, based on the American version of the same name, in which hosts Jo Beth Taylor and Ben Dark are shown performing difficult, strange, and/or messy occupational duties alongside professional workers. The show premiered following the premiere of the Australian version of The Singing Bee on 7 October 2007. The show managed lacklustre ratings and was removed after five episodes and replaced with Commercial Breakdown.

Aussie Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was an Australian reality television series that was based on the original and hugely popular American series, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Much like the American version, the program is premised on the stereotype that gay men are superior in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design and culture. In each episode, a team of five gay men—known collectively as the "Fab Five"—perform a makeover on a subject, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle and food. The program premiered on Network Ten at 7:30 pm on Wednesday 9 February 2005, during the first week the 2005 Australian ratings season to a national audience of 903,254. After the second episode saw its audience share drop 20 per cent to 725,263, rumours began the show would now be moved from its prime time slot at 7.30 pm on Wednesdays to 9.30 pm on Mondays. However, after the third episode which aired on 23 February, the Network axed the program. The three remaining episodes aired later in the year.

The Music Jungle was an Australian music television show that was broadcast on the Nine Network on Saturday mornings between 11am and 12pm. The 2007 season began on 31 March and ended on 8 December. The 2008 season began on 22 March. The Music Jungle last aired in March 2009.

Coxy's Big Break is a daily travel show airing 5:00 pm530pm on Seven Melbourne and Prime across Victoria. It has previously been screened nationally on Seven's HD channel and is sold overseas. It premiered in 2004. Hosted by Geoff 'Coxy' Cox, the show visits locations across Australia and around the world. The local edition of the program keeps Victoria as its primary focus. Other destinations have included New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Bali, Vanuatu, The Cook Islands, New Caledonia, China, Hawaii, Austria, Ireland, Thailand and Antarctica. The Seven Network airs different travel shows in the weekend 5:30pm timeslots. Brisbane screen Queensland Weekender Saturdays and The Great South East Sundays. Sydney have Sydney Weekender on Saturdays. Adelaide show Discover on Saturdays. The program has been produced in PAL 1080i 25PsF high-definition since the start of 2007. The show is presented by Shannon Lush, who visits households in need of a major clean-up and helps the families discover what is the best cleaning solutions for them and their lifestyles. It also offers tips on cleaning their homes in an eco-friendly way. The series has an original first series order of 10 episodes.

The Up-Late Game Show was a late night interactive television quiz program shown in Australia on Network Ten, written and hosted by Big Brother Australia 2005 contestant Simon Deering, commonly known by the nickname Hotdogs. The show's format had the host presenting simple puzzles which viewers could attempt to solve over the phone. Successfully solving a puzzle would result in a cash prize for the contestant. The show debuted on 16 August 2005, the day after the Big Brother 2005 finale. The first caller in was Big Brother winner Greg Mathew, who congratulated Hotdogs on his new show. The first series ended 22 April 2006 to make way for Big Brother UpLate. The second series started on 31 July 2006, the day of the Big Brother Australia 2006 finale, with Deering returning as host. From August 2006, Hotdogs was joined by co-hosts Big Brother 2006 housemate Rob Rigley and singer Chrissy Bray. On Monday 7 August and Tuesday 26 September former Big Brother contestant Krystal Forscutt co-hosted the show. The show's format initially had the host sitting at a table, with a bowl of popcorn and a mug. After the Christmas and New Year break, the format had changed to Deering walking around the set.

Animal Emergency is an Australian observational documentary series that began airing on the Nine Network on 16 March 2008. It is narrated by Gold Logie winner Georgie Parker.Animal Emergency follows the daily happenings of the Lort-Smith Animal Hospital in Melbourne. Some media outlets have reported the title of the program to be Animal Hospital; Nine Network has since clarified that this is incorrect, and the show will indeed be titled Animal Emergency.

The Shak at Home is an Australian children's television program that was broadcast on the Nine Network from 2009 to 2010. The cast for series one included Drew Jarvis, Beau Walker and Kendal Nagorcka, with Libby Campbell joining the cast from series two onwards, portraying characters Curio, Nitro, Picasso and Willow respectivily. Throughout each episode, viewer questions, queries, dares and challenges are answered in an entertaining and educational manner along with intersecting storylines.

Saving Babies is an Australian medical documentary television series that screened on Network Ten from 15 February 2007 to 29 March 2007; airing seven episodes. The show was filmed at Sydney's Royal Hospital for Women and presented by former newsreader, Kim Watkins. The show follows the stories of unwell newborn infants and their families as they go through numerous medical examinations and treatments. Each half hour show follows three families and their stories while in the hospital. The program was broadcast on Thursday nights. The shows presenter, Kim Watkins, has had her own experience with the Royal Hospital for Women after giving birth to premature twin girls.

The Lost Tribes is an Australian reality television series produced by the Nine Network. The series premiere was broadcast on Sunday 6 May 2007 at 6:30pm, prior to the telecast of the 2007 TV Week Logie Awards. The show is narrated by Charles Wooley. The series places two families from Sydney and one family from Melbourne with indigenous tribal communities in South Africa, Namibia, and Indonesia. The series aims to document the culture shock each family goes through in their new environment. In the week before The Lost Tribes premiered, cast members appeared as contestants on the game show Bert's Family Feud in order to promote the series.

The Resort was an Australian reality television series that aired on Network Ten in 2004. The show was hosted by Jon Stevens. Set on a Fijian island, a group of hopeful renovators were given 13 weeks to transform the resort into a three-to-four star hotel. The series was axed after six weeks. The resort remains unfinished, and is now likely to stay that way.

Fire 000 is an Australian observational documentary series that is now airing on the Nine Network on 7 May 2008. Fire 000 follows the fire officer operations of the New South Wales Fire Brigade.

Australia Wide was a rural-focused half-hour soft news programme produced by the ABC in Sydney. The programme was, up until mid-2007, produced by the Corporation's New Media and Digital Services division in Brisbane. It was shown weekdays on the digital-only channel ABC2 at 4.00pm, 7.00pm, and 7.30am, and can also be viewed at ABC Online. The program follows a daily theme covering a range of topics and issues. Earth Works, shown on Mondays, focusses on the 'real world' and environment, Gen Next, shown on Tuesdays concentrates on the interests and issues of young people, especially those in rural areas. On Wednesdays the five winners of the 2005 "Video Lives" competition present video diaries of their lives and communities, while on Thursdays Arts About showcases the artistic talents and endeavours of Australians living in rural and regional areas. Outta Here on Fridays follows sport and recreational activities. Content for the program comes from a number of sources, including reports from state and territory ABC News bulletins, reports from programs on the Australia Network, and ABC Local Radio presenters. Over summer, Australia Wide Summertime screens 10 minutes of news and weather and replaces the second section with short documentaries from a variety of sources, shown only on ABC2.

Marx and Venus is an Australian television comedy series broadcast on SBS TV. Set in Perth, Western Australia, the program is about two flat mates; John Marx, played by Bryce Youngman and Venus Hoy, played by Rhoda Lopez. Originally Emma Lung was to play Venus Hoy, but she pulled out of the project before filming. The program premiered on 6 August 2007. Episodes of the show are only five minutes long, and it is generally shown around 8:30pm each Monday night. The theme music for the opening titles is "Come on Come on" by Little Birdy.

Things To Try Before You Die was an Australian travel show that was produced by and aired on the Nine Network. Making its debut on 17 July 2007, each episode of the show focused on a particular country and counted down the top 30 things that one 'must try' in that country. The show was similar to Getaway, a travel show also airing on the Nine Network.

The Boat Show is an Australian lifestyle television program hosted by Glenn Ridge, who is also Executive Producer. This is not to be confused with 31 Digital's new series by the same name currently covering the marine industry in South-East Queensland. The Boat Show features stories about boating, from people who are passionate about their boats and yachts, to the latest gadgets and boating tips and boating locations both in Australia and abroad. Presenters include Steven Jacobs, Grace McClure, Teisha Lowry and Kellie Johns. It began screening in 2003 on the Nine Network.

Australia's Perfect Couple was an Australian reality television series which aired on the Nine Network. The series was hosted by Jules Lund, and premiered on 22 July 2009 at 7:30 pm. The series ran for six episodes,

Not Quite Art is an Australian TV series that documents the many media of present-day art and culture in Australia. Two series of the series have been produced and aired on ABC1, both with 3 episodes each, the second series also aired on ABC2. The series is created and hosted by Marcus Westbury.

The Gift is an Australian observational documentary series that aired on the Nine Network at 9:30 pm, Thursdays. It is narrated by 60 Minutes journalist Tara Brown. The Gift explores the stories and importance of organ donation in Australia. A second series will begin airing at 9:00pm Wednesdays from 12 August 2009, following RPA.

The Block is the Israeli version of the Australian reality television show The Block, hosted by Haim Etgar. The show premiered on May 30, 2009, on Channel 10. In the show, five couples are required to overhaul a totally wrecked apartment. They only have 200,000 NIS to use towards designing their apartment.
