Joking Apart

Joking Apart is a BBC television sitcom written by Steven Moffat about the rise and fall of a relationship. It juxtaposes a couple, Mark and Becky, who fall in love and marry, before getting separated and finally divorced. The twelve episodes, broadcast between 1993 and 1995, were directed by Bob Spiers and produced by Andre Ptaszynski for independent production company Pola Jones. The show is semi-autobiographical; it was inspired by the then recent separation of Moffat and his first wife. Some of the episodes in the first series followed a non-linear parallel structure, contrasting the rise of the relationship with the fall. Other episodes were ensemble farces, predominantly including the couple's friends Robert and Tracy. Paul Mark Elliott also appeared as Trevor, Becky's lover.

De Oro Puro

De Oro Puro is a Venezuelan telenovela that was produced by and seen on Venezuela's Radio Caracas Televisión. Julio Cesar Mármol came up with the idea for De Oro Puro. José Antonio Mendez was the general producer, Jhonny Pulido was the executive producer, and Rafael Suarez was the director. De Oro Puro lasted 113 episodes and was distributed internationally by RCTV International. De Oro Puro is better known for having been a notorious flop in the history of Venezuelan television, which was worsened by being broadcast in the same time slot that was previously occupied by the very popular and long lasting Por Estas Calles. Despite the production values and the big names behind the series, the public became confused by the complicated plot and storyline, and the ratings were poor. It has been postulated that De Oro Puro contributed to the downfall of RCTV in late 1990s. RCTV publicised De Oro Puro, in an effort to attract viewers, but these efforts failed. When the plot become more confusing and the ratings further lowered, the channel aired a series of shorts where famous first actress Amalia Pérez Díaz resumed and explained the plot in a didactic way. This effort backfired when people began to perceive De Oro Puro as being difficult to understand to the extent that it had to be explained, and Ms. Pérez Días' apparitions became the subject of mockery.

ToonHeads is an animation anthology series consisting of Hanna-Barbera, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Warner Bros. and Popeye cartoon shorts, with interesting background information and trivia, prominently about animators and voice actors like: Mel Blanc, Tex Avery, Hugh Harman, Rudy Ising, David H. DePatie, Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones, William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, and Daws Butler. The program was narrated by Leslie Fram and Don Kennedy. Every half-hour episode would have a different theme, including one series of episodes in 1996 featuring the long-unseen Nudnik shorts. It was originally broadcast on Cartoon Network from October 1992 to November 23, 2003, with a Christmas special shown on December 24, 2005. Saturday Disney is a children's program hosted by Nathan Morgan, Candice Dixon & Teigan Nash which has aired on the Seven Network in Australia for 20 years 7 months, with the first episode going to air on 20 January 1990. Although, according to the hosts during the 800th episode of the show, they revealed the show premiered in March 1990, causing confusion of the actual premiere date. Up until 2008, on most occasions for the remainder of the morning Disney shows would continue to air on Seven after Saturday Disney. As of 31 March 2012, Saturday Disney airs on 7TWO. Saturday Disney was originally filmed at BTQ-7 from 1990 until 1999 when it moved to Seven's Sydney station, ATN-7. On 5 September 2009, the show celebrated its 1,000th episode. Saturday Disney celebrated 20 years on air in 2010.

Ten years ago, divorced woman Li Zhijun remarried Jian Yaoting. Zhijun's eldest daughter, Dong Ruojing, resisted her mother's remarriage and ran away to France. Snacka om nyheter was the Swedish version of the BBC series Have I Got News for You, broadcast by Sveriges Television. It was first broadcast on March 5, 1995 on TV2 and hosted by Stellan Sundahl. On February 22, 1999, Stellan Sundahl died, days after taping an episode that was shown the day before he died. The show was put on hiatus and the three remaining episodes were replaced by commemorative programmes. The show returned in November 2000 and was hosted by Sven Melander who would continue hosting it until the show's cancellation. The last programme was broadcast on December 21, 2003. Snacka om nyheter took many rounds from the British original, including the "Film Round", "Tabloid Headlines", "Odd One Out", "Missing Words" and "Caption Competition". Other elements borrowed from Have I Got News for You were the opening that included the phrase "Good evening and welcome to Snacka om nyheter" followed by a punch-line and the three "news reports" in the beginning as well as the humorous delivery of the scores. In 2008 the show began airing again, this time on Kanal 9, hosted by Kajsa Ingmarsson and produced by Jarowskij.

In France, the series aired on France 3 in 1998. A second season, titled Omertà II – The Code of Silence, had 14 forty-five minute episodes and was broadcast between September and December 1997 on Radio-Canada. A third season, titled Omerta, The Last Men of Honor, had 13 episodes and was broadcast from January to April 1999, on Radio-Canada.
