The series ended with only Steve deciding to pursue the priesthood by entering the seminary. However, two of them incorporated religion into their lives, as Joe became a lay minister, and Dan became a youth minister. Mike took the teaching position he was offered. Steve has left the seminary and is now married. The show is credited with renewing interest in Flood, a song by the Christian rock band Jars of Clay.

On February 6, La que no podía amar replaced all programs shown weeknights at 10pm/9c, due of low ratings and little viewership in Telemundo's novela: Relaciones Peligrosas. On March 29, Don Francisco Presenta was officially canceled by Univision, and as of 2013, telenovelas are broadcast at 10pm/9c.

The series is hosted by Nick Zano and centers around the premise of an individual coming forward with the goal of being more like someone else. The person whom the individual desires to be more like is offered $1,000 to reform the individual, making him more like him or herself over the course of forty-eight hours. Time Team America is an American television series that airs on PBS. It premiered on July 8, 2009. It is an Oregon Public Broadcasting adaptation of the British show Time Team, produced in collaboration with Channel 4 which commissioned the original show, in which a team of archeologists and other experts are given 72 hours to excavate an historic site. The U.S. version features "freelance and university-affiliated experts [who] mostly join existing excavations...[and] arrive with resources that the archaeologists already on the case usually can’t afford and specific questions that, if answered, will advance the understanding of the site." The crew abides by a set of rules: the person being helped must be a stranger, the mission must be completed in one day, and no money may be spent. In order to free up John and Andre to get to know the subject of a given episode, they are aided by three producers in an internet-ready mobile RV. Capella Fahoome, Jim Lefter, and Molly Schrek, once a subject has been decided on, go to their laptops and cell phones, searching for local businesses or individuals willing to help. Typically, the "street team" and the "RV team" do not interact except over the phone, although this policy, too, has had its exceptions.
