When Jung-Rim is near death, she tells her that Moo-Yeon is her father.

Dong-Gyu (Lee Chun-Hee) works as a prosecutor, but he always loses his cases. He doesn't like his job and always carries his resignation with him. One day, Dong-Gyu attends his high school reunion to meet Chang-Ho (Park Sang-Wook) who was his hero back then. Chang-Ho though does not appear. Dong-Gyu is assigned a bank robbery case. He meets the suspect in the interrogation room and is stunned to see Chang-Ho.

On stormy night, Young-In (Cha Soo-Yeon) works alone at an art gallery. She witnesses a murder. Detective Ji-Hoon (Kim Tae-Hoon) investigates the case, but there is little evidence to be found. Young-In is the only witness, but she has the face blindness disorder prosopagnosia.

Noh Sook-Ja (Oh Yoon-Ah) is an insurance investigator and enthusiastic member of a mystery novel club. One day, a homeless man, Lee Soo-Chul (Jo Hee-Bong) dies. Noh Sook-Ja is assigned to the case, because his family will receive a large insurance payout. Meanwhile, Noh Sook-Ja begins to write a mystery novel inspired by Lee Soo-Chul's case. While investigating his insurance case, she begins to suspect that Detective Park Boo-Dong (Cho Seong-Ha) killed Lee Soo-Chul.
