Embassy is an Australian television serial originally broadcast by ABC Television from 1990 to 1992. Three series were produced with a total of 39 episodes. The program is set in the Australian embassy of a fictional South-East Asian country called Ragaan, located half-way up the Malay Peninsula, somewhere between Thailand and Malaysia. It features stories about Australian ambassadors and their staff.

D.E.A. is a short-lived television program which was aired by Fox Broadcasting Company as part of its 1990-91 lineup. D.E.A. was based on true stories of the Drug Enforcement Administration. Shot in cinéma vérité style, the program combined recreated scenes using actors with actual surveillance footage and film of actual newscasts covering the stories depicted. Fox apparently had considerable confidence in this concept. When the initial version garnered low ratings and was put on hiatus, before its return the program was retooled into DEA—Special Task Force, which placed more emphasis on the agents' personal lives and showed less graphic violence. The revamped show premiered in April 1991, but also failed to achieve significant ratings and the program was canceled for good in June 1991.

Brewster Place is a short lived American drama series which aired on ABC in May 1990. The series was a spinoff of the 1989 miniseries The Women of Brewster Place, which was based upon Gloria Naylor's novel of the same name. The series starred talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who also served as co-executive producer.

Kappatoo was a CITV show based on a book by Ben Steed, starring Denise Van Outen. In the show, Kappatoo travels back in time to the present to swap places with his identical "time twin" Simon Cashmere in order to cheat in a futuristic sports contest. Kappatoo lives in the past whilst Simon lives in the far off future. The show premiered on CITV in 1990, with a follow-up series, Kappatoo II, broadcast in 1992. the show was made by Worldwide International TV for Tyne Tees Television. Filming took place at Heaton Manor School in High Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne with characters and extras using authentic school uniform from Heaton Manor School. The creative team behind Kappatoo did not do much about effects, and a short scene from the first episode which has Kappa freeze time had some extras moving around.

Considering that the director is David Lynch, the aspects chosen are some of the much more unusual ones. Subjects chosen for the Lynch treatment include Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and the gruelling weeks of training at a US Marine boot camp.

Operation Barbarossa is a kids TV show, based on the novel The Mysterious Boy by Ivan Kušan. It is a story about a boy who for some time lives in the belief that he is to blame for the death of a friend, a peer, who drowned in the Sava river. In order to cover up his death, the boy takes his name (because he had just come to Zagreb when he disappeared) also goes to another school. Thus, in two shifts (before noon - afternoon), he tries to be a student in two schools and gets into many dramatic situations. The riddle is, of course, solved by Kušan's main character Koko.

Elly & Jools is an Australian children's television series that originally aired on the Nine Network in 1990. It starred Rebecca Smart as Elinor 'Elly' Lockett and Clayton Williamson as Julian 'Jools' Trevaller. It also featuredred Abigail, Anne Tenney, Peter Fisher, Dennis Miller, Damon Herriman and Vanessa Collier. The dog which appeared in the series also played the dingo in the Meryl Streep and Sam Neill film, A Cry in the Dark.

Guys Next Door is an American television series aired on NBC in the 1990-1991 season as part of its Saturday lineup. The show starred Patrick J. Dancy, Eddie Garcia, Bobby Leslie, Damon Sharpe and Christopher Wolf. Most of the show centered on comedy sketches and spoofs of popular issues at the time, ala Saturday Night Live. The Guys still have a dedicated fanbase with several web fan sites and most of the group's music videos from the show posted on YouTube. You can also find some of the various collectible items that were made such as the GND lunchbox, buttons, watches, posters, pajamas, board game and even dolls on eBay from time to time. While Chris Wolf and Bobby Leslie dropped out of the public eye after the show ended, Patrick and Eddie are still active as actors. Damon Sharpe is currently a Grammy award winning music producer and songwriter who has worked with such talents as Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Anastacia, Kelly Rowland, Big Time Rush, New Boyz and Monica.

Haggard a 1990—1992 British comedy television series. "Haggard" is about the exploits of Squire Haggard, the Squire's 25-year-old son Roderick, and their servant Grunge. It was made for the ITV network by Yorkshire Television, and based on Squire Haggard’s Journal by Michael Green, more famous for his The Art of Coarse... books. Fanny Foulacre, Roderick's girlfriend, makes asides to the camera, commenting upon the situations she finds herself in. The series is set during 1777—1778, in the Georgian era.
