The story takes place on Terschelling, which is closed off from the rest of the Netherlands at the end of the 19th century. Sil Droeviger, a farmer in Oosterend, supplements his income for his family, consisting of his wife Jaakje and sons Jelle and Wietse, with beachcombing. One day a strong storm arises and Sil rescues a girl from a sunken Swedish dinghy, while the mother drowns. Sil takes the girl home and raises her as his own daughter. He calls her Lobke, just like their daughter who died shortly after birth.

Produced at BCTV Vancouver, the Alan Hamel Show attracted LA showbiz friends, including his wife Suzanne Somers. In 1975, the composer Robert Ashley embarked on an ambitious work titled Music With Roots in the Aether. He called it an opera (or piece of theater, depending on the case) for television. The work is comprised of seven two-hour sections. Each episode is dedicated to investigations, interviews, and performances of one of his peers – David Behrman, Philip Glass, Alvin Lucier, Gordon Mumma, Pauline Oliveros, and Terry Riley, respectively, with the final reserved for himself.

The program's mission statement, according to its opening title cards, was to interview "the leading figures in letters, the arts, and sciences." Beginning with Jorge Luis Borges, who was the guest on the first episode of A fondo aired on September 8, 1976, the program played host to some of the Spanish speaking world's most respected intellectuals of the day. In 1976 critics awarded the show a Premio Ondas in the "national television" category.

We are in NRK’s Nine O’Clock News studio at Marienlyst. As usual, Kjell Tue is at the microphone, and in the control room, Totto Osvold is at the helm. Bank manager Hugo Oswald is to be interviewed live, but suddenly collapses dead in the studio, poisoned in front of an open microphone. Police detectives Helmer and Sigurdson are assigned to the case. Pensioner Brockmann, the murdered bank manager’s neighbour, also becomes heavily involved in the investigation.

Milka Matičetova, which is partially supplemented in this edition, so that the collection is not only intended for family reading, but also for more demanding research readers. Ethnologist dr. Milko Matičetov collected Resian fairy tales for half a century and carefully transferred them to the literary language, which reflects the juicy language and stylistic refinement of Resian folk singers and storytellers.
