Dinnerladies is a BBC sitcom written by and starring Victoria Wood that chronicles the antics of a group of workers in a canteen in the north of England. Dolly and Jean are the bickering menopausal older women, always at odds but best friends beneath it all. London Bridge is a British television drama/soap opera made by Carlton for ITV and shown in the London region. It ran from 15 February 1996 to 31 March 1999.
