Difference of Opinion is an Australian television program that was produced and broadcast by ABC1. It began at the start of 2007, hosted by ex-60 Minutes journalist Jeff McMullen. Dave in the Life is an Australian television documentary series starring Dave Zwolenski first screened on SBS One in 2009. The show saw Dave stepping into the shoes of different people each week as he tries life as a shock jock, a politician, a homeless person, a headline-grabbing artist, a survivalist, a hunter and a pensioner. The series is described as 'a comical journey into some great "Aussie divides but also explores the serious social issues, myths, themes and topical stories of modern Australia'. Some of the guests Dave spent time with included Barnaby Joyce, Andrew Fraser, Mike Carlton, Sandy Aloisi, Housing Minister Tanya Plibersek and a range of others. Three episodes of the show were aired on SBS, but was then pulled due to programming issues. It is created and hosted by former World Series of Poker Champion Joe Hachem, who will also act as judge and mentor to the contestants. New Zealand poker champion Lee Nelson will also appear as a judge. The series is sponsored by PokerStars. The show pits eleven amateur poker players against each other in a series of challenges that tests the principles of "Joe's Code", rules that Hachem believes are beneficial for success in life and for being a successful poker player. Players compete for $100,000 in cash and entry to four of the world's biggest poker tournaments, with Hachem continuing to join them as their personal mentor. Over 18,000 people applied for the first series. The 1st season saw 33 year old speech pathologist and mother of two Amanda become 'The Poker Star', beating out the other two members of the final three, Josh and Chris. Amanda stated during the final episode that the $100,000 prize money would go a long way to helping with the mortgage on the home she had recently purchased for herself and her two daughters.

The series is narrated by journalist Liam Bartlett and actress Brooke Satchwell, and chronicles the harrowing experiences of Australians travelling on their holidays. Trouble in Paradise features six edited stories from a similar British series, My Holiday Hostage Hell, and six originally-produced stories. Each episode consists of two stories, and six episodes have been produced. The show was axed from the Nine Network's schedule after three of the six episodes had aired. It was eventually returned to the schedule of the Nine Network's digital multichannel, GEM, which broadcast the remaining three episodes commencing 16 March 2011.

Domestic Blitz is an Australian lifestyle and DIY television series that originally aired on the Nine Network from 18 May 2008 to 18 April 2010. The series is based on the format of Backyard Blitz, which had previously aired on the Nine Network, and generally occupied its same former timeslot of Sunday 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Rather than rewarding nominated candidates with solely a garden makeover though, Domestic Blitz introduced the element of house renovations as well. The series also exhibits similarities to the American television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in that the candidates either come from a disadvantaged background, or include someone with a terminal illness. The series was hosted by Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, with Cam having previously been the resident builder on Backyard Blitz, and featured a design team of Chontelle Samios and Joel Hurrey, as well as Richard Reid as the family guide. There were also occasional celebrity guests, notably singers Michael Bublé, Pink and wrestler Dave Batista. Although the regular series ended in 2010, a television special featuring the contestants from The Block 2012 aired on 8 July 2012 on the Nine Network. Cam was joined in hosting the special by former Backyard Blitz host and counterpart Jamie Durie. A second television special featuring the contestants of The Block 2013 will air on 4 August 2013.

The Up-Late Game Show was a late night interactive television quiz program shown in Australia on Network Ten, written and hosted by Big Brother Australia 2005 contestant Simon Deering, commonly known by the nickname Hotdogs. The show's format had the host presenting simple puzzles which viewers could attempt to solve over the phone. Successfully solving a puzzle would result in a cash prize for the contestant. The show debuted on 16 August 2005, the day after the Big Brother 2005 finale. The first caller in was Big Brother winner Greg Mathew, who congratulated Hotdogs on his new show. The first series ended 22 April 2006 to make way for Big Brother UpLate. The second series started on 31 July 2006, the day of the Big Brother Australia 2006 finale, with Deering returning as host. From August 2006, Hotdogs was joined by co-hosts Big Brother 2006 housemate Rob Rigley and singer Chrissy Bray. On Monday 7 August and Tuesday 26 September former Big Brother contestant Krystal Forscutt co-hosted the show. The show's format initially had the host sitting at a table, with a bowl of popcorn and a mug. After the Christmas and New Year break, the format had changed to Deering walking around the set.
Crash Investigation Unit is an Australian factual television series on the Seven Network hosted by Damian Walshe-Howling. The series premiered on 27 August 2008. The series follows the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit to uncover the causes behind a car crash. The program is similar to New Zealand's SCU: Serious Crash Unit, which has previously aired on Seven to strong ratings. So far the series has attracted an average of 1.3 million viewers.
