Pumpkin Scissors is a manga created and authored by Ryotaro Iwanaga. Originally serialized in Magazine GREAT in 2002 it was later moved to Monthly Shonen Magazine in October 2006. The manga has been licensed by Del Rey. An anime adaptation of Pumpkin Scissors has been released, produced by Gonzo and AIC, which began airing on October 2, 2006 across several Japanese television stations and ended with the 24th episode on March 19, 2007. The series was originally licensed to the North American market by ADV Films for $780,000. In 2008 it became one of over thirty titles transferred from ADV Films to FUNimation, the main distributor of anime in the English speaking world.

Catherine Oxenberg and Casper Van Dien also appeared as villains. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has not announced plans to release this series on DVD and/or Blu-ray. Telefe, which produced the original version, syndicates a 64-episode run of the series in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. It promotes the show as mixing a classic Latin genre with Hollywood aesthetics. From July 2009 it was aired in Slovakia on TV Markíza taking the slot of Latin American telenovelas, but the show was not very successful.

The Ancient Dogoo Girl is a Japanese comedy tokusatsu series directed by Noboru Iguchi, director of The Machine Girl and RoboGeisha. The show airs on MBS every Wednesday night at 25:25 JST. The ending theme is Denki Groove's "Dareda!". In October 2010, Dogoo Girl premiered its sequel The Ancient Dogoo Girls. The show adds five more Dogoo Girls portrayed by Misaki Momose, Rina Takeda, Manami Nomoto, Maria Yoshikawa, and Haruka Dan. The theme song for the sequel is "Bakuha Seyo! Dogoon V".

WWII in HD is a 10-part American documentary television miniseries that originally aired from November 15 to November 19, 2009 on the History Channel. Het Blok is a Dutch reality series running since 2004 on NET 5. The program is based on the Australian series The Block. The program shows 4 couples who have 77 days to build and model an apartment. The construction happens while the couples hold their regular day jobs, so only evenings and weekends are available to the couples. They are each given a € 30,000 budget with which to buy supplies, such as paint and lighting supplies. Every two weeks, the couples must have one room of their apartment ready for judgement. A jury reviews the rooms that are finished and the winner of each judging get an extra prize. After 77 days, each apartment is judged as a whole, and the apartments are valuated. The couples win the difference between this value and the start-value, which the apartment had, before they started the renovation. The couple who has the apartment that has risen the most in value wins an extra € 50,000. The end values are determined by an auction.

Zombie Hotel is an animated children's program about a hotel run by zombies, produced by French production company Alphanim and shown internationally. The main characters are Fungus and Maggot, two child zombies who pretend to be human to get into their local school, and their family and boarders at the hotel run by their parents. They make friends with Sam, a human boy whose mother is away most of the time. Sam soon finds out about their zombie powers and all three make a team of friends. Sam uses an old railway carriage as his haunt. The plot often involves a risk of the discovery of Maggot and Fungus' zombie nature and the three trying to prevent this. The hotel itself is one of several main locations used in the show. Others include the school and Sam's railway carriage.
