Live Floor Show was a television comedy show produced by BBC Scotland for three series from 2002–2003. The first two series, hosted by Greg Hemphill, were broadcast on BBC One Scotland. The third series, hosted by Dara Ó Briain, was shown on BBC Two. The programme featured a number of regular acts on one of the three stages at the Queen Margaret Drive studios in Glasgow: Frankie Boyle, Al Murray, Craig Hill, Paul Sneddon, Miles Jupp, and Jim Muir. The show also featured many other well-known guest acts: Bill Bailey, Doug Stanhope, Mackenzie Crook, Des McLean, Craig Charles, Dan Antopolski, Jo Brand, and Matt Blaize. At the end of each show there was a musical act. One notable appearance was by Robert Plant, on the same night as Bill Bailey.

Having it Off is a one-off TV comedy series for BBC Choice made by Red Production Company in 2002. It was set at a cheap hairdressing salon in Eccles, Greater Manchester. It was shown only once and is not available yet on DVD. Out gay bitchy stereotype Guy La Trousse, desperately tries to escape the drudge of daily wash and crop and change the fortunes of the salon - and his career. This is all thwarted by April, nymphomanic loud-mouthed wife of the hairdressers owner. The BBC website describes it as "rude, crude, strongly working-class sitcom on the lesser-seen BBC Choice, Having It Off promised much yet fell curiously short of the mark, lacking the key that would have propelled it to a higher level". However, tapes have been known to change hands on eBay for high prices.

The Experiment was a documentary series broadcast on BBC television in 2002 produced by Steve Reicher and Alex Haslam in which 15 men are randomly selected to be either "prisoner" or guard, contained in a simulated prison over an eight-day period. “The BBC Prison Study explores the social and psychological consequences of putting people in groups of unequal power. Re:covered was a music television show broadcast in the UK on BBC Choice in 2002 and hosted by Dermot O'Leary. Each of the ten half-hour shows featured three bands or artists who, in turn, played two songs – a current track of their own, and a cover version of their choice. A Re:covered Elvis special left this usual format with artists performing just Elvis tracks - including The Flaming Lips performing Suspicious Minds, Sugababes performing Hound Dog and McAlmont and Butler performing Burning Love.

Ed Stone Is Dead was a 2002 BBC sitcom starring Richard Blackwood, Daniel Brocklebank, Bill Paterson and Claudie Blakley. It centers around Ed Stone who accidentally is killed by the grim reaper Nigel and becomes half-dead. The show ran for a single season with 13 episodes, each 30 minutes long. It was later repeated on Trouble.

Live With Chris Moyles was a short-lived British comedy chat show on five, which aired weekdays at 7pm. The show was filmed in front of a live audience in a bar in London. The show consisted of Moyles' unique take on the day's news, interactive fun and games with competitions such as 'Dancing Letters', and celebrity guests dropping in for a pint and a chat. Chris Moyles talks about this show in The Difficult Second Book. In it he says how after a show he had a conversation with the producer, radio DJ and owner of UMTV, Chris Evans. During the conversation Moyles said he didn't like the way the show was being made and that anyone could present it, and wanted to give it a more unique style for his personality. After this Evans avoided Moyles until the end of the shows run. Although the show was commissioned for a second series, whilst Moyles was on holiday his agent was sent a press release saying that Christian O'Connell was the new host of the show and that Moyles was moving on to do other projects for Five.
