Pirogovka

Peter Andreevich, an outstanding doctor, heads the N. I. Pirogov Hospital. His daughter Kira, a brilliant surgeon on the verge of burnout, also works here. Novice doctors come to work at the hospital, whom Peter Andreevich directs to her for training. Kira takes them with hostility, for which she quickly becomes a "bitch" in the eyes of newcomers. None of them suspects that behind her nagging lies the desire to make them real professionals. For Kira, her career comes first, except for her, she has no friends, no husband, no children — only a married colleague-lover Ignat, who is in no hurry to get divorced. The only one who saw Kira as a real girl behind the external severity was the new doctor Egor.

BO's Shop

Lapkina, a young woman from a small Russian town, finds an alien bunny named BO on the street. His flying saucer, stashed "in the bushes near Vyborg", is packed with various "thingamajigs" that drive the show's plot. BO represents an extraterrestrial race far more advanced than Earth's civilization — which explains his patronizing, sardonic attitude toward the humans who took him in. The alien's perspective allows the show's creator to approach everyday human life from a completely different angle, seeing the familiar in a new light and finding something surprising in the mundane.
