It was a co-production with subscription television and screened on the UKTV channel on Foxtel. It was produced by Penny Chapman and Sue Masters. The directors was Tony Tilse. Temptation was about the passion of cooking and love. Chefs Ruth and Gabe are the top students of their graduating year and have fallen in love. Gabe starts working at his father Roberto's restaurant but their peaceful existence is shattered when they discover that Ruth is opening a restaurant across the road with Roberto's ex-partner Rita. It's love and war involving the staff of the two restaurants in the same street. Temptation led to a spin-off television drama series that ran for one season on Network Ten in 2004 called The Cooks. Temptation was about the love and war in the kitchens and bedrooms of the chefs.

The Sunday Roast is an Australian sports talk show that deals with the issues in the National Rugby League. It airs on the Nine Network, and first aired in 2005, beginning at 11:00 am and leading into The Sunday Footy Show. In 2006, with the axing of Boots N' All, The Sunday Footy Show moved to 11:00 am, with The Sunday Roast moving to midday. Since 2012, the show has been incorporated into The Sunday Footy Show as a segment rather than a show.

The Boat Show is an Australian lifestyle television program hosted by Glenn Ridge, who is also Executive Producer. This is not to be confused with 31 Digital's new series by the same name currently covering the marine industry in South-East Queensland. The Boat Show features stories about boating, from people who are passionate about their boats and yachts, to the latest gadgets and boating tips and boating locations both in Australia and abroad. Presenters include Steven Jacobs, Grace McClure, Teisha Lowry and Kellie Johns. It began screening in 2003 on the Nine Network.

The Evie Hayes Show was an Australian television variety series starring vocalist Evie Hayes. The half-hour series debuted on 4 July 1960 and ran a season of eight episodes on Melbourne station ABV-2. It is worth noting that ABC variety series of the era had intentionally shorter seasons than those on commercial television in Australia. The series aired live, with musical backing by the ABC Melbourne Dance Band. Other performers who appeared on the series included Reg Grey, Joan Clarke, Raymond McDonald, Verona Cappadona, Frankie Davidson, The Unichords, Alan Eddy, Annette Klooger, Barry Purcell, Will Mahoney, June Barton, Ian Williams, Gaynor Bunning, Tony Jenkins, Graeme Bent, Clive Hearne, Fay Agnew, Bob Garrity, Johnny Marco, and Margaret Becker.

Going Places was an Australian television series broadcast by the Nine Network in late 2007. It consisted of 8 half-hour-long episodes. Australian actor Sue McIntosh narrates the series, while her husband, John McIntosh, produces.

ITN World News was a newscast shown during the late 1980s and most of the 1990s. It was either shown on cable or satellite television, or shown internationally. The newscast was broadcast from London, England, and was produced by Independent Television News. A domestic version was also shown in the United Kingdom on terrestrial television. ITN World News began broadcasting on Super Channel, and aired on NBC Europe, Nine Network Australia, Public Broadcasting Service Public television stations and most of the ITV Network Regions. The broadcast began in 1987, and has not been seen on screens since 1999. The newscast was produced by ITN and broadcast from its London Bureau.

Huey's Cooking Adventures was an Australian television series featuring chef Iain Hewitson. It screened at daytime on Monday to Friday throughout its run on Network Ten, including most recently at 4:00pm. It also airs on the subscription television channel Lifestyle Food, through Foxtel, Austar and Optus Television. The show began airing in 1997 on the Seven Network, before defecting to Ten soon after where the show has found popularity with daytime audiences. The program was replaced with a new, albeit similar, series Huey's Kitchen from March 2010.

Friday Night Games was a spin-off from Big Brother Australia's Friday Night Live, hosted by Mike Goldman with Bree Amer and Ryan "Fitzy" Fitzgerald and was produced at Dreamworld, Gold Coast, Australia by Network Ten. Two teams, each composed of three celebrities and one chosen contestant, competed and tested their skills in a series of games and challenges. Each game had a different set of rules and difficulty rating. The "celeb-to-be" was chosen out of hundreds of applicants, most being eliminated through challenges until a final challenge on the Friday Night Games set. Challenges included holding onto a balloon whilst riding "Wipeout", or holding a piece of paper above their head whilst riding on the Tower Of Terror, a roller coaster at Dreamworld, without ripping it. During each Game there would be a referee which the crowd booed at. At the grand final the ref was booed off stage and The ref Gave the crowd The Finger. However this was edited out. Each episode was pre-recorded in front of a live audience at Dreamworld’s games arena and aired on Friday nights. The ultimate Friday Night Games Champion Team won a A$50,000 donation to the charity of their choice, courtesy of Supercheap Auto. A third season returns in 2007, again hosted by former housemates Bree Amer, Ryan Fitzgerald and Mike Goldman.

In Australia, Saturday Night Footy is the broadcasting of Australian Football League Saturday night matches on television. Saturday Night Footy is generally considered to be one of the biggest stages and generates publicity for the clubs involved. It is for this reason that clubs involved generally want to perform at their best to avoid large-scale criticism from the media. The Seven Network have the broadcast rights for the AFL starting from the 2012 season. The commentary team is led by Brian Taylor, Cameron Ling, Luke Darcy and Matthew Richardson. Samantha Lane provides reports during the match and also features as a reporter during the pre-match segment, which runs one hour before the feature match is played. Dr. Peter Larkins provides injury updates during and after the feature match. The show begins at 6:30pm every Saturday night, immediately following Seven News in most markets. The pre-match show is anchored by Taylor and runs for one hour in the lead-up to the feature match. This portion of the telecase includes, among others, segments such as: interviews with players and the coaches involved in the feature match, going behind-the-scenes of a team's training session, and featuring various celebrity guests. Rachael Finch and Lleyton Hewitt, among others, have featured as guests on Saturday Night Footy. One of the more popular segments of the pre-match show is the "lie-detector test", in which either a member of the commentary team, or a player from one of the clubs that are to feature in the AFL match, is asked an array of questions relating to many topics such as the happenings at their club, or their personal lives.

Let Loose Live, premiering on Sunday 29 May 2005, was an hour-long Australian live sketch comedy television programme loosely based on Saturday Night Live. At least two-thirds of each episode's content was broadcast live, requiring a large cast & crew. The show was broadcast on the Seven Network on Sunday nights at 8:30 PM, but was axed after just two episodes due to disappointing ratings. It was not replaced; instead, the Seven Network's regular Sunday night movies returned to the 8.30 slot. Let Loose Live's cancellation was announced the day after the second episode aired. Tim Worner, Seven's programming boss, conceded that it did not live up to expectations despite being strongly promoted. According to OzTAM, 955,000 viewers tuned in to its pilot episode, but then the ratings plummeted almost by a third to 650,000 the following week. Not long after the cancellation, the Seven Network announced plans to reinstate the series during the summer season, but nothing came of it. Prior to the show's debut, director Ted Emery remarked in an interview that Let Loose Live would either 'soar majestically, or crash and burn'.

Australia Unites: Reach Out To Asia was a telethon held in Australia on 8 January 2005. The telethon raised money for World Vision, as a part of the humanitarian response to the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. It was telecast on the three commercial television networks. It was the first time all three television networks produced a telethon as a unit. It was also simulcast on the Triple M network, Mix 94.5 Perth, ARN, and Nova stations. It was held in two locations: ⁕The telethon was held at the Telstra Dome in Melbourne, where the main call centre was also located. This portion was presented by Seven's Andrew O'Keefe, Nine's Eddie McGuire, Ten's Rove McManus, with Nine's Catriona Rowntree and Ten's Peter Helliar reporting from the call centre and celebrity green room. ⁕A concert with some of Australia's leading performers held on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House. This portion was presented by Seven's Melissa Doyle and David Koch and Nine's Larry Emdur, with Nine's Richard Wilkins and Ten's Gretel Killeen reporting from backstage and the audience. Performers included Killing Heidi, Guy Sebastian, Missy Higgins, The Dissociatives, Kasey Chambers, Alex Lloyd, a reformed Noiseworks with lead singer Jon Stevens, and a supergroup featuring members of You Am I, The Living End, Jet and Spiderbait.

Kings is a 1983 Australian television series dealing with the working-class King family living in Sydney. It starred Mark Kounnas and Melissa Jaffer and was aired on the Nine Network. It was the first drama series produced by PBL Productions, and ran for 19 hour-long episodes that began on 12 July 1983.

Surprise Surprise Gotcha is an Australian hidden camera practical joke television series. Hosted by radio personalities Matt Tilley and Jackie O, the series commenced on the Nine Network on 18 September 2007.

The Group was a popular Australian situation comedy series produced by Cash Harmon Television for ATN7 in 1971. The situation involved five young flatmates - three men and two women - living together for financial and pragmatic reasons and regularly attempting to outwit their landlord who was convinced there were saucy goings-on in the flat. The regular characters were named on screen with a freeze frame as they made their entrance at the start of each episode. Each credit also featured a brief description of the character, such as MARK the medical student, JENNIFER the student, BOB the accountant, JEREMY he's something in television, TINTO the landlord. The final character was Laura, the dumb brunette, a model unaware of her physical attractiveness. Laura was the key character around which most of the show's situations revolved. Her caption would change every episode and formed the title of the episode, such as "and LAURA this week she's on a diet", "This Week She Wants to Be a Singer", "This Week She Travels", etc. The regular cast included Ken James as Mark, Gregory Ross as Bob, Gregory de Polnay as Jeremy, Jenee Welsh as Jennifer and Terry O'Neill as Tinto. The role of Laura Bent was played by Roslyn Wilson, a newcomer with no acting experience. She was cast at the last minute when the original actor, Wendy Hughes who played Laura in the televised pilot episode, was released to take a role in a stage play.

Make Ours Music was an Australian music television series which aired from 1959 to circa 1961 on ABC. Produced in Sydney, it also aired in Melbourne. Originally a half-hour series, it later expanded to an hour. Make Ours Music featured a mix of live songs and dance numbers. The producer of the series was James Upshaw, who also produced series like Hit Parade and The Lorrae Desmond Show. The latter occupied the time slot of Make Ours Music for some time in 1960. The archival status of the series is unknown. Though 16mm film copies were likely made so it could be shown in Melbourne, it is not known if any of these still exist. However, it is known that such recordings exist of Hit Parade and The Lorrae Desmond Show.

StarStruck was a short-lived 2005 Australian television series, that screened on the Nine Network. It was hosted by Larry Emdur and Catriona Rowntree. It was based on the successful Stars in Their Eyes in the United Kingdom. Contestants were introduced and then whisked away to be transformed into the star of their choice. They would emerge for their performance, supported by dancers, a choir and an orchestra. Contestants were judged on their performances by Doug Mulray and Vanessa Amorosi. The program debuted strongly winning the 7.30pm timeslot with an average of 1.58 million viewers across Australia.

Cash Bonanza is an Australian game show hosted by Larry Emdur, which was broadcast on the Nine Network in 2001. Associated with Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and the various lottery companies of the states and territories of Australia, the program featured contestants who were chosen from a draw of scratch-tickets sent in by the public.

New Faces was an Australian talent show that preceded the British show of the same name, produced at GTV-9 Melbourne. The program began in 1963 under the name Kevin Dennis Auditions, sponsored by Kevin Dennis Motors, running on Saturday mornings. The program name soon changed to Kevin Dennis New Faces, and later simply New Faces, becoming a Sunday night prime time show. Originally hosted by Frank Wilson from 1963 to 1976, and then by Bert Newton from 1976 to 1985, the show featured two serious judges, such as Geoff Brooke, Rod McLennan and Tim Evans. Contestants would compete in heats, with the winners competing in finals. Many of its contestants later became famous, including Daryl Somers, Paul Hogan, The Hawking Brothers, Col Elliott and Julia Morris.

It's a Knockout is an Australian show that was adapted from the French show, Intervilles. It originally ran from April 1985 to September 1987. It was later revived on 7 November 2011 on Network Ten.

Outback 8 is a show that aired on Network Ten in Australia and BBC in the UK in 2008. The show consisted of 4 children from the UK and 4 children from Australia. The show is set at the Agricultural Training College in Longreach, Queensland. The show is made up of 13 episodes and commenced on 22 September 2008 and ran every Monday for 13 weeks

The Real Seachange is an Australian reality television series on the Seven Network, narrated by actor John Howard. The series follows families, couples and singles who leave the big cities behind in search of a better life. This phenomenon is known as a seachange. The title also references Howard's former role on the popular drama series SeaChange. The first season aired in late 2006. A second season aired in 2008. There is no news on whether Seven have any plans for a third season in the future.
