Happy Together is a 1999 South Korean television series starring Lee Byung-hun, Song Seung-heon, Kim Ha-neul, Jo Min-su, and Jun Ji-hyun. It aired on SBS from June 16 to August 5, 1999 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes. Starring young actors who would go on to become Korean TV and film stars, the hit drama revolves around five children who were separated at the death of their parents, and the love, conflicts, and reconciliation that these siblings go through when they meet again as adults.

Upon entering college, Narumi forms the Asunaro Group along with four other boys and girls. In time, she starts to date Tamotsu, whom she felt attracted to when she first saw him at the entrance exam. Although the two are happy together at first, their very different backgrounds cause them gradually to fall out and ultimately break up. The members go their separate ways, but Narumi and Tamotsu do not forget each other. The story follows the Asunaro Group members’ growth into adulthood as they struggle with the boundary between friendship and love, deal with bitter experiences, and find love for the first time.

Suraag – The Clue is an Indian television detective-crime drama series that aired on DD National in the late 90s on every Monday at 10:00 to 11:00 pm IST. The series, starring Sudesh Berry as CID Inspector Bharat in the main lead, was directed by Gautam Adhikari and produced by Shri Adhikari Brothers Limited. In the drama, Inspector Bharat and his assistant Inspector Srivastav formed a formidable partnership in solving crimes, mostly murder mysteries. This series, unlike previous detective-crime dramas in India, involved tackling of one case every episode and seldom were the story or case of one episode continued to the next one.

Missing Persons is a short-lived American crime drama television series, set in Chicago. It followed a fictitious missing persons unit; each episode usually following the investigation into three or more cases. It ran on ABC from August 30, 1993 to February 17, 1994. It was produced by Gary Sherman Productions in association with Stephen J. Cannell Productions, and often used local Chicago-based actors, as well as occasional big-name guest stars such as Nina Foch, Eddie Bracken and Lois Smith. Semi-regulars included Ian Gomez, Irma P. Hall, Laura Cerón and Valerie Harper. Unlike most series from Cannell's company, he did not create or co-create this series.

In the UK it was shown in the 1993 on TCC, CBBC, and then on UK Living's Tiny Living strand for under-fives. It was aired in the United States as a segment on the Fox Cubhouse, an educational children's program on Fox, from 1993 to 1996.
