Business Centre Australia was once one of CNBC Asia's business news shows to round-up the trading day in Australia. During its debut in late January 2001, it initially aired only to viewers on CNBC Asia's Australian feed but later that year it was made available across the region. The show was presented by Amanda Drury from Singapore and Mark Laudi from Sydney although Laudi eventually moved back to Singapore and co-hosted the show there.

The Mint was an Australian phone-in quiz show based on the British program of the same name, and broadcast on the Nine Network in selected areas in the late night time slot. The show was filmed live at Nine's GTV Richmond studios in Melbourne. It replaced Quizmania and was produced entirely by the Nine Network, unlike Quizmania which was produced by Fremantle Media. Like Quizmania, the program received its revenue from phone charges rather than advertisements. Only contestants aged 18 or over were allowed to participate. Each entry cost a flat 55c charge to a premium-rate 1902 number when calling from a landline. On 18 March 2008, it was announced that The Mint would be axed. The final episode aired on 29 March 2008.

Melody Time was an early Australian music television series which aired in 1957 on Melbourne station ABV-2. The live show was hosted by singer Ormonde Douglas, who also made guest appearances on other Australian television series of the era. In 1959 the series aired again for an additional series of six episodes. The first of the 1959 episodes also featured soprano Maureen Boyce and pianist Wendy Pomroy It is not known how many episodes still exist, given station practices of the era. A 16mm kinescope recording of the episode aired 26 August 1957 is held by National Archives of Australia.

Stop the Music was an early Australian television series, which aired from 1956 to 1957 on Melbourne station HSV-7. The station began broadcasting on the 4th of November 1956, and Stop the Music debuted a few days later on the 7th, along with Eric and Mary. A music-based game show, Stop the Music was hosted by John Eden and also featured audience participation. It is not known if HSV-7 had equipment to make kinescope recordings during the run of the series, and the archival status of the series is unknown, with the series possibly being lost.
