Britney: For the Record is a 2008 documentary television film of American recording artist and entertainer Britney Spears, following her return to the recording industry after her much-publicized personal struggles the year prior. The film was shot in Beverly Hills and New York City during the third quarter of 2008; main shooting began on September 5, 2008, two days before Spears's appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards. It was directed by Phil Griffin. MTV, one of the two official distributors of the documentary, posted on their website the first promotional trailer on October 9, 2008. Britney: For the Record premiered on MTV on November 30, 2008 in the United States, two days before the release of her sixth studio album, Circus, for which the documentary served as a promotion tool. It received mixed reviews from critics, but was broadcast to high ratings and positive fan reactions.

Scrap MTV is a program of MTV Brazil, daily for the young audience. Headed by VJ Mariana de Souza, with guests in the studio, pictures, materials and participation of the hearing by telephone and via the web through email. The subjects are more varied, talk about music, fashion, internet, video games and the world pop. Premiered on television on 28 January 2008 with duration of 15 minutes. Here Come the Newlyweds is a reality television series that first premiered on ABC on March 2, 2008. The series' first season ran through April 6, 2008. A second season premiered on May 25, 2009 and aired through July 13, 2009. The show is hosted by Pat Bullard. The title of the program came from the announcer's introduction of the contestants on an earlier, more famous ABC game show, The Newlywed Game, which began with: From the Chuck Barris stages in Hollywood, California, here come the newlyweds!
