Return to Peyton Place is an American daytime soap opera which aired on NBC from April 3, 1972 to January 4, 1974. The series was a spin-off of the primetime drama series Peyton Place rather than an adaptation of the 1959 novel of the same name by Grace Metalious. The storylines from the daytime show were a continuation of those from the primetime series. Both James Lipton and Gail Kobe worked as writers on the series during its run. Frank Ferguson, Evelyn Scott, and Patricia Morrow reprised their roles from the earlier series. Selena Cross, a major character in the original novel and the films both it and its sequel inspired, had not been included in the primetime TV series because her storyline was considered too risque at the time. She was a featured character in the daytime soap.

Alvin Purple was an Australian television situation comedy series made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1976. The series followed continued adventures of the title character, previously featured in successful sex comedy feature films Alvin Purple and Alvin Purple Rides Again. Graeme Blundell reprises the role of Alvin in the series. Alvin cohabitates with a new character, flatmate Spike. As in the films various women inexplicably lust after Alvin. The women were played by a stream of recognisable Australian actors in guest starring roles including Tina Bursill, Jackie Weaver, Belinda Giblin, June Rich, Jane Harders, Pamela Gibbons, Kirrily Nolan, Peta Peita, Judy Lynne, Suzanne Church, Carla Hoogeveen, Chantal Contouri, Anya Saleky. Dawn Lake and Leonard Teale also acted in the series.

Set in the USA, the plot concerns Thomas Norton, a researcher in the field of lie detection, who provides his services to courts and private industry. Italian TV mini series

The New Bill Cosby Show is an American variety television series aired in the United States by CBS as part of its 1972-73 lineup.

Takeshi Osawa (Ken Utsui), an assistant professor of piano at a music college, is remarrying his first love, the widowed Yumiko Tashiro (Kayo Matsuo). Yumiko's son, Toshio, is a young man whose piano playing Takeshi heard and recognized as talented. However, upon learning that Takeshi was a rival of his biological father, Seiji Tashiro (Ken Ogata), who is said to have committed suicide, Toshio becomes violently opposed to Yumiko. Takeshi is troubled by Toshio's attitude, but with the encouragement of his younger brother, Minoru, a conductor, he succeeds in teaching him traditional piano, and Toshio ends up studying at the music college. An unconventional figure at the university, Toshio approaches Hanae Miyajima, the granddaughter of the university president. This action later sparks turmoil for those around him as it becomes intertwined with the university's succession issue. Furthermore, Toshio's father, Seiji, who was thought to be dead, suddenly appears...

With the defeat of the revolution of 1848, the attempt to unite the German states had also failed. Arabic series When The World Turns

The Bass Player and the Blonde was a television play in the ITV Playhouse series, first broadcast 14 June 1977. It was followed up with a three-part serial with the episodes given the names of musical terms: Rondo, Allegro, and Andante. In the play and the series, George Manghan, a middle aged, debt ridden bass player in a Jazz band, falls in love with the wealthy and much younger blonde singer Terry, much to the distress of her father.

He Said, She Said is an American game show hosted by Joe Garagiola, with Bill Cullen occasionally filling in when Garagiola was covering baseball games. The show, which asked couples questions about their personal lives, aired in syndication during the 1969-1970 season, and was taped at NBC Studios in New York City. The show was produced by Goodson-Todman Productions for sponsor Holiday Inn. Johnny Olson and Bill Wendell announced. The show had two formats during its run; one in which four celebrity couples competed, and one which had a single celebrity couple and three civilian couples. The format was modified and brought back on CBS in 1974 as Tattletales, with Bert Convy as host.

Bill Maynard returns as Selwyn Froggitt, known to us all as the council labourer, helpless handyman and all-round public nuisance persistently haunting the bar of the Scarsdale Working Men's Club and Institute. This time however, Selwyn's making an attempt to broaden his horizons: bubbling with his usual enthusiasm, he's uprooted himself from Scarsdale to the Paradise Valley Holiday Camp, where he has been appointed Entertainments Officer. It's a big step for Selwyn, but he can surely take it all in his stride.
