Snakes and Ladders was a very short-lived Australian television game show which aired on Melbourne station HSV-7 in 1959. Hosted by Pat Hodgins, it was a half-hour "jackpot quiz" based on the board game of the same name. It was preceded on the HSV-7's schedule by Strictly for Mothers and followed by Home Decorator. It is extremely unlikely that any of the episodes exist as kinescope recordings, and as such it is likely lost.

Good Game: Pocket Edition is a television gaming talk programme produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and a spin-off to Good Game. It professes to be an "add-on pack for gamers, by gamers". The programme, currently hosted by Steven "Bajo" O'Donnell and Stephanie "Hex" Bendixsen, is a series of 10-minute episodes summarising all of the gaming-related events that occurred in that week. It debut on 16 February 2013 at 8:15pm on ABC2.

Town Talk, originally T.V. Town Talk, was an Australian television series which aired on Sydney station TCN-9 during 1957, from circa May to December. Little information is available on this series. The series was hosted by early Australian television personality Robert Kennedy, who had been the original host of the Sydney version of What's My Line. Town Talk aired at 7:15PM on Fridays, following the evening news, which itself aired in a 15-minute time-slot during 1957.

Cool Zone was an Australian television series which was broadcast on community television station, C31 Adelaide in Adelaide, South Australia. The show was aimed at a wide demographic with a focus on teenagers and was hosted by M-Cool. Each episode lasted for approximately five minutes plus commercials. Cool Zone consisted of numerous segments per episode but usually a consistent subject matter and shoot location. The program first aired in August 2005 with C31 commissioning a first season run of 24 episodes. Despite a cult following the program was axed after just four weeks and replaced by repeats of the SA Sports Show. Several Australian commercial networks expressed interest in picking up Cool Zone in 2006 but could not reach agreement with M-Cool.

Skating on Thin Ice was a short-lived Australian celebrity reality television programme broadcast on the Nine Network in 2005. Hosted by Jamie Durie, nine celebrities learnt to skate with the ultimate goal being to perform with Disney on Ice, with proceeds going toward children's charity, CanTeen. TAC Cup Future Stars is an Australian sports television program which focuses on the TAC Cup, an under-18 Australian rules football competition. It premiered on Sunday, 10 May 2009 at 1:00pm on GTV-9 in Melbourne, and features game highlights, interviews and analysis of the top prospects to be nominated in the AFL draft. TAC Cup Future Stars is hosted by Craig Hutchison, whose production company, Crocmedia, is producing the show. Former Hawthorn player, Ben Dixon, and AFL talent scout, Kevin Sheehan were panellists from the start, with Terry Wallace joining in 2010. In 2009, Sport 927's Angela Pippos reported from the field.

Big Brother Confidential is an uncut, Australian reality program. It aired on Nine Network on 22 August 2012. The series originally aired at 10:10pm on Wednesdays nights but got moved to 8 o'clock Thursday nights because of presumbably low ratings. Reaction to the series has been very negative.

House Gang is an Australian television comedy that screened on the Special Broadcasting Service. The first series of six episodes screened in 1996 and the second series of six episodes screened in 1998.

Camp Orange: The Mystery of Spaghetti Creek is the name of the third season of the children's reality series Camp Orange. It was aired on Nickelodeon Australia in May 2007. Thursday Night Live was an Australian sports program that first aired on One on 2 April 2009. It aired on Thursdays at 7.30pm, and ram for 2 hours. The show was hosted by Bill Woods, with regular panelists Nicole Livingstone, Cam McConville, Luke Darcy and Jeremy Smith appearing throughout the show. Mark Howard appeared on the show as the quiz host and announcer. Woods also crosses to Brad McEwan to see what is coming up on Sports Tonight. The show was filmed in front of a live audience at the Ten Studios in Sydney. The show will not return in 2011.

Business Centre Australia was once one of CNBC Asia's business news shows to round-up the trading day in Australia. During its debut in late January 2001, it initially aired only to viewers on CNBC Asia's Australian feed but later that year it was made available across the region. The show was presented by Amanda Drury from Singapore and Mark Laudi from Sydney although Laudi eventually moved back to Singapore and co-hosted the show there.

It shouldn't be confused with the Sydney Morning Herald column of the same name in the Saturday edition that poses sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical questions answered by readers. Prolific contributors are John Moir, Jim Dewar and David Buley.

Good Morning With Rosemary!!! was one of Australian Television's first weekday breakfast/variety programs for children, on TEN Channel 10 and seen in New South Wales. It was produced and presented live to air by Rosemary Eather. The two-hour show featured news and live animals. Guest celebrities included John Banner and Lorne Greene, and Australia's own Col Joye and Judy Stone. "Let's Explore" was a recurring feature. The show aired Monday through Friday mornings from 7 to 9. It was the Ratings Winner as the "Most Popular Show", and a forerunner of the Nine Network's Super Flying Fun Show. Other content included cartoons, serials, music clips, news, pet information, and competitions. During school holidays, groups of children joined Rosemary in the studio for a wide range of activities. In 1971, it took the name Breakfast-a-Go-Go, paralleling, for Sydney, Fredd Bear's Breakfast-A-Go-Go on the Melbourne sister station, ATV Channel 0. A new comedic sidekick, Witless Wonder, replaced Warwick Rankin when he moved to his own children's show, Commander Strongarm.

This Is Your Laugh was an Australian television talk show broadcast by Seven HD. It was the second Australian television program to be produced exclusively for a HDTV multichannel, the first being The NightCap. The show began broadcasting on 30 November 2008 on Sunday evenings at 8.30pm, where it aired for nine episodes. It returned on 8.30 Saturday 14 February where another two episodes aired, after which it was moved to a late night timeslot on Tuesday's where the last five episodes of the series aired.

New Faces was an Australian talent show that preceded the British show of the same name, produced at GTV-9 Melbourne. The program began in 1963 under the name Kevin Dennis Auditions, sponsored by Kevin Dennis Motors, running on Saturday mornings. The program name soon changed to Kevin Dennis New Faces, and later simply New Faces, becoming a Sunday night prime time show. Originally hosted by Frank Wilson from 1963 to 1976, and then by Bert Newton from 1976 to 1985, the show featured two serious judges, such as Geoff Brooke, Rod McLennan and Tim Evans. Contestants would compete in heats, with the winners competing in finals. Many of its contestants later became famous, including Daryl Somers, Paul Hogan, The Hawking Brothers, Col Elliott and Julia Morris.
