At Your Request was an Australian television daytime series which aired from 1958 to 1959. The series aired on Tuesdays at 2:30PM on Melbourne station HSV-7, and was hosted by baritone Charles Skase, who was also known as a radio personality. Information on this series is scarce. The series presented requested songs, but it is not clear how these songs were presented. The archival status of the series is also not known, although being a daytime series aired in a single city means it is unlikely that kinescope recordings exist of it. For some time, the series was preceded on HSV-7's schedule by documentary series Australia Wide and followed by Gadget Man. On Australian television of the 1950s, music programmes were typically aired in a single city, with some exceptions.

In Australia, Saturday Night Footy is the broadcasting of Australian Football League Saturday night matches on television. Saturday Night Footy is generally considered to be one of the biggest stages and generates publicity for the clubs involved. It is for this reason that clubs involved generally want to perform at their best to avoid large-scale criticism from the media. The Seven Network have the broadcast rights for the AFL starting from the 2012 season. The commentary team is led by Brian Taylor, Cameron Ling, Luke Darcy and Matthew Richardson. Samantha Lane provides reports during the match and also features as a reporter during the pre-match segment, which runs one hour before the feature match is played. Dr. Peter Larkins provides injury updates during and after the feature match. The show begins at 6:30pm every Saturday night, immediately following Seven News in most markets. The pre-match show is anchored by Taylor and runs for one hour in the lead-up to the feature match. This portion of the telecase includes, among others, segments such as: interviews with players and the coaches involved in the feature match, going behind-the-scenes of a team's training session, and featuring various celebrity guests. Rachael Finch and Lleyton Hewitt, among others, have featured as guests on Saturday Night Footy. One of the more popular segments of the pre-match show is the "lie-detector test", in which either a member of the commentary team, or a player from one of the clubs that are to feature in the AFL match, is asked an array of questions relating to many topics such as the happenings at their club, or their personal lives.

My Fair Lady was an Australian television series which aired from 1958 to 1962 on Wednesdays on Melbourne station HSV-7. Little information is available on this series. It was originally part of a line-up titled Home, which featuring various segments including Cooking, Home Decorator and Shopping Guide. Later, it appears the Home branding was dropped. For part of its run it aired at 2:30PM. At one point in 1959 it was the first show on the station schedule for the day, while at another point in 1959 it was preceded by US anthology series episodes of shows like Four Star Playhouse. The show is described as being aired live, compered by June Finlayson and featured Charles Bush, and featuring contestants, suggesting it was a game show. Other hosts during the run of the series included Vikki Hammond. Archival status is unknown, but as Australian game shows were rarely kept during the era the show aired in, it is likely the series is either lost or largely missing.

Sweet F.A. is an Australian generational game show currently in pre-production. Based in Brisbane, Sweet F.A. utilises local and interstate talent in its casting and crew. Each episode involves two teams from different generations competing in question, physical, and visual games. At the end of the season, the two leading teams return to compete for the winning title. The programme's title is derived from the euphemistic slang term, meaning "nothing". The use of modern slang in the title directly reflects the programme's quirky, youthful style. The tagline "It's all they have in common" directly relates to this title, and refers to the generation gap: the many social differences between the generations.

Hunter was an educational Australian children's television series that aired in the late 1980s and early 1990s on the ABC. Twenty-four episodes were filmed and produced in Hobart, Tasmania, by ABC Hobart between 1985 and 1985, although the series was repeated often on ABC TV until 1992. It focused around a man, known as "Hunter", investigating, or "hunting" for information. His clothing was akin to an old English detective. Hunter's favoured mode of transport was a bicycle adorned with a bright small triangular flag at the end of a pole. He was played by Philip Sabine. His companions included "Computer Cat", represented by a puppet on the show, and a mouse, represented by a live mouse named Albert, which often ran around in the brim of his hat. He was also occasionally joined on his adventures by his niece Minnie. CC was made by Jennifer Davidson, founder of Terrapin Puppet Theatre, which is based in Hobart. The theme song to the show included the lyrics "What, why, where and when, that's Hunter!". The Hunter show was watched by many Australian school children, often as part of their school curriculum, at primary-school level.

Hotel Story was an Australian television series made by Crawford Productions for the Ten Network in 1977. The series, intended as a replacement for The Box, was set in a luxury international hotel. The regular characters were the hotel workers and in each one-hour episode they hosted a new batch of glamorous guest-star hotel guests, and rather like a drama version of The Love Boat stories would focus on both the self-contained dramas of the passing guests and the on-going problems of the hotel staff. The regular cast was headed by Terence Donovan as the hotel manager, and also included Carmen Duncan, George Spartels, and American actor Richard Lawson. The title sequence was shot on film at the then Old Melbourne Inn on Flemington Road, North Melbourne. This distinctive looking hotel building is now an accommodation hostel owned by RMIT University. Interior sequences were largely shot on video at Channel Ten's Nunawading studios, giving the series a soap opera look. Hotel Story was cancelled before it even went to air. Originally planned to run for at least 26 episodes, the series was cancelled after only seven episodes had been produced, and before any had been broadcast. The first four episodes were later screened over two nights and the network elicited audience feedback asking whether the show should continue. There was some positive feedback and while it was too late for Hotel Story itself, the concept was later revived for the series Holiday Island.
