The Zimmer Twins is a Canadian children's website and broadcast animation project. The project was created by producer Jason Krogh and artist Aaron Leighton and is produced through Lost the Plot Productions Inc. A selection of the user-generated episodes is produced into broadcast shorts and air on Teletoon. Les Jumeaux Zimmer is the French-language version of the show and website. The Zimmer Twins is known for its unique format which combines online participation and broadcast delivery. Children are invited to create and share 1-minute animated episodes using a story editor and library of animation. The audience creates endings to short, professionally produced story-starters. Kids tell their stories by choosing actions, characters, props and backgrounds. They can also add their own dialog and on-screen text. New clips are occasionally added. The original Zimmer Twins website launched on March 14, 2005, with the show first airing on Teletoon in May. A total of 60 broadcast spots were produced and broadcast in the 2005/2006 season. By the end of the first season over 100,000 user-created episodes were created by over 50,000 registered members. A major revision of the site was launched July 1, 2006. A total of 120 broadcast episodes were broadcast in the 2006/2007 season and 32 more were broadcast in 2008. The site's population passed 200 000 on November 5, 2011.

The Main Event was a weekly hour-long Australian Game Show that aired on the Seven Network from 1990 to 1992. Larry Emdur was the emcee with Don Blake and Niel Chantler as announcers. The series was created by former football player Craig Johnston, who was also listed as "Creative Director" in the ending credits.

William & Sparkles' Magical Tales is an Australian children's television series first screened on the Nine Network on 5 March 2010. The series is created by Omnilab Media and Ambience Entertainment, with 45 X 30 half-hour episodes for pre-school aged children. The Emigrants is a 1977 Australian mini series about an English family who move to Australia.

Town Talk, originally T.V. Town Talk, was an Australian television series which aired on Sydney station TCN-9 during 1957, from circa May to December. Little information is available on this series. The series was hosted by early Australian television personality Robert Kennedy, who had been the original host of the Sydney version of What's My Line. Town Talk aired at 7:15PM on Fridays, following the evening news, which itself aired in a 15-minute time-slot during 1957.

Things To Try Before You Die was an Australian travel show that was produced by and aired on the Nine Network. Making its debut on 17 July 2007, each episode of the show focused on a particular country and counted down the top 30 things that one 'must try' in that country. The show was similar to Getaway, a travel show also airing on the Nine Network.

Vidiot was a children's/teenage television game show broadcast from 1992 to 1995 on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It was hosted by Eden Gaha for the first two series, then Scott McRae for the 1994 and 1995 season. The game format was mostly a simple verbal question-and-answer, with slight variations like timed rounds, visual aids, and audio aids. Questions were themed on popular teen culture - Chart music, recent films, etc. For each Monday to Thursday broadcast three new teenage contestants battled to win a place for the Friday broadcast. A live audience, often fellow students from the school from which the contestants originated, was present. Vidiot was recorded in ABC's Sydney studios. On the east coast of Australia it was broadcast 5:30pm weeknights. Vidiot is also the term used by Ken Nordine in a sketch titled The Vidiot, on his 1957 album Word Jazz. The sketch is of a patient in a therapists office, describing his addiction to TV, and saying he has become a vidiot. Also used as a term to describe people who spend hours on computers and watch TV a lot. It was also a 1980s video game magazine that demised in the North American Video Game Crash of 1983.

Mass For You At Home is a long running Australian religious television programme. The programme has been broadcast by Network Ten since August 1971 and is intended to allow for observant Catholics, particularly those with mobility problems, to participate in a mass from their own home. Mass For You At Home is broadcast on Network Ten Sunday and repeated on Aurora Channel on Foxtel every day. The programme is also available online here and includes a simultaneous translation into Auslan. The programme typically has thousands of viewers around Australia. Geoffrey Baron was a celebrant on this programme for 30 years. During 2006 Baron received national attention as a result of an altercation with teenagers that was recorded and subsequently uploaded to YouTube.

Class Of... is an Australian factual program all about schools that aired on Network Ten on 15 August 2012; originally in 2011.

Australia This Week is a television business news program aired on Fridays and across the weekend on CNBC Asia. When daylight saving time is in effect in Australia, the program is first shown live across the network's pan-Asian feed at 5pm Sydney time. At other times, the program is relayed live in Australia only, and rebroadcast 30 minutes later on the channel's pan-Asian feed. It is produced from CNBC Asia's Australia studio in Sydney, and anchored by Oriel Morrison. The program serves as a review of the week's trading in Australia, featuring analysis from money managers and investors and excerpts from the major interviews from the week's editions of Squawk Australia and Trading Matters. Australia This Week premiered on CNBC Asia on 6 October 2007 as part of a major push into the Australian market by the network. Australia This Week is also part of the weekend programming line-ups of CNBC Europe and CNBC World.

It's Academic is an Australian children's game show currently airing on 7Two. The show is based on the long-running American version of It's Academic, and pits students from different schools against each other in a test of knowledge covering a number of diverse subjects including English, mathematics, science, geography, sport, music and popular culture.

Salam Cafe is an Australian comedy talk show. Produced by RMITV, and originally airing on Channel 31 from 31 April 2005 under the title Ramadan TV, the show began a revamped ten week run on the SBS from 7 May 2008. Hosted by Ahmed Imam and starring various Muslim panellists, including Waleed Aly and Susan Carland, the show presents a light hearted, humorous view on life as a Muslim in Australia through panel discussion and a series of sketches that lampoon the representation of Muslims in Australia and the Islamic way of life. The show was filmed in front of a live audience in Sydney and Melbourne.

Formal Wars is an Australian reality television series produced by Matchbox Productions that premiered on the Seven Network on 25 July 2013. In each episode, two high school students hand over control of their school formal to their parents. The series is hosted by Melanie Vallejo.

The show was originally written to fill the void in the Australian Jackass market, as MTV Australia had failed to follow the lead of MTV Europe with Dirty Sanchez by creating a localised version of the oddly successful show. After several failed attempts to find a niche in the crowded genre filled with literally millions of Jackass imitators, Bogans on the Run creator Dan Colby went back to drawing board. What followed was the Bogans first big breakthrough. The redesigned concept saw the show become a parody of popular Australian travel series, such as Getaway and The Great Outdoors, while still retaining its appeal to the youth market by incorporating improvised acts of pranks, skits and stunts in the same vein as Trigger Happy TV, Tom Green Live, Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, and Punk'd. The new concept immediately saw the show grab the attention of Madman Entertainment who jumped on board and agreed to distribute a DVD of the show across AUS and NZL into retail outlets at the end of 2006. Due to the shows limited filming budget the initial deadline was not met and the Bogans parted ways with Madman over a percentage dispute while negotiating a new deal. Although originally designed to be a DVD series, Bogans on the Run will now begin airing as a webcast on ManiaTV in 2008 which is good news for the fans that have been hanging out for the shows release as they can now access all the madness of Bogans on the Run for free.

The Dave & Kerley Show is an Australian television series that airs on Channel [V]. It first began airing on 6 April 2008, and had a run of 13 episodes, finishing on 29 June 2008. It is hosted by Dave Lawson and James Kerley, who had previously hosted Nickelodeon's Sarvo together for two years from 2005 to 2007.

Homeward Bound was an Australian television variety series. Produced by and broadcast on Melbourne station ABV-2, the first episode aired 12 October 1958 while the final episode aired 21 December 1958. It it worth noting that ABC variety series generally had shorter seasons than those on commercial television. Featuring a "sea shanties" theme, the series was hosted by "Sparks" Murphy, and regulars on the program were Alan Eddy, Mervyn Bray, Paul Gavin, William Smith. Other performers who appeared during the run of the series included accordion player Egidio Bortoli, and hornpipe dancer Michael Thomas. It is not known if any of the episodes are still extant, given the erratic survival rate of Australian television series of the 1950s.
