Svensson, Svensson is a Swedish sitcom. It has also been made into a feature film and a play. Two seasons consisting of 12 episodes each were broadcast in the autumn of 1994 and the autumn of 1996. They have since been repeated numerous times. The series was revived for a third season in 2007. Svensson, Svensson is one of the most successful sitcoms in Swedish television history. During the second season, each episode gathered more than 2.5 million viewers, in a country which at the time had a population of around 8.8 million people. The most watched episode was broadcast on 17 November 1996 and gathered 3,395,000 viewers. The series centres around the Svensson family who lives in the Vivalla area of Örebro. The family consists of the father Gustav who works as mailman, the mother Lena who works at a bank, their teenage daughter Lina and their son Max. For the revival, Gustav has had to retire from his work at the post office, while Lena works for the local government. Max now works at the bank and Lina has married the conductor John who brought his daughter Greta into the family.

Shot on location at Midoriyama studio in Yokohama, it airs on the Tokyo Broadcasting System between Japanese television drama seasons. Each 3-hour special covers an entire competition; there are normally 100 participants. There have been 29 specials, approximately one new special per season. The show is produced by Monster9 and is one of the spin-offs of Muscle Ranking, another sports entertainment competition, which currently airs on G4 under the name Unbeatable Banzuke. Until the 10th competition, Sasuke was broadcast as a special part of Muscle Ranking, but it became an independent program when Muscle Ranking was discontinued. The first competition was held indoors, marking the only time Sasuke did not take place outside. Competitions generally start in the daytime and continue until completed regardless of weather or darkness. After Monster9's bankruptcy on November 2011, all rights to the show fell completely into the hands of its broadcaster, Tokyo Broadcasting System. Following their acquisition of all rights to Sasuke, TBS renamed the show, Sasuke Rising.

Hundreds of years later, Bagus, who was diving, found a large clam that turned out to contain Solfami. He then gives her a nickname, Jinny.

Zhang Meihua discovers the truth and divorces Rongchang.

During its first season, the show took the form of societal debates; it was in September 1999 that it was re-formatted into a talk-show. The show features guests who are making news at the moment, including actors, writers, singers, politicians and athletes. Guests discuss their life and engage in thematic interviews. The show gradually acquired a provocative reputation, notably since the host does not hesitate to ask political guests questions about their private and sexual lives. With Thierry Ardisson as the main host, he was first accompanied by Laurent Ruquier and Linda Hardy. Later, he turned to duos Éric and Ramzy, then Kad and Olivier. Finally, he opted for comedian Lauren Baffie as co-host, until the end of the show.

Power Play was a Canadian television drama series, which aired on CTV from 1998 to 2000. The series was filmed at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. The show starred Michael Riley as Brett Parker, a former New York City sports agent who became the general manager of a National Hockey League franchise, the Hamilton Steelheads. One of the throughline plots of the series dealt with Parker's ongoing love–hate relationships with the sport, the team and his superior at McArdle Industries, corporate executive Colleen Blessed, played by Kari Matchett. The cast also included Gordon Pinsent as team owner Duff McArdle, Jonathan Crombie, Jennifer Dale and Al Waxman. The show's theme song was a modernized version of the Stompin' Tom Connors classic, "The Hockey Song", performed partly by Connors himself, and then transitioning to the performance of the band Rusty. The show was briefly aired on the US network UPN, starting in 1999, but was pulled after just two episodes. The second episode aired in the US has the distinction of being the lowest-rated episode of any prime-time TV series ever aired by any US network.
