Kihara passes by and picks up Taguchi. Due to circumstances, a woman in a flashy outfit was also on board. After traveling as three people for a while, Kihara becomes angry at Taguchi who talks too much, and at the time leaves Taguchi behind. They also have personal problems to deal with. Kihara left his wife and child many years before, and Taguchi had been torn between the demands of his wife and his mother.

The show was set in the 13th century and followed the misadventures of a cowardly, womanising, alcoholic knight. The programme was axed after just one series following bad reviews and was never brought back for a second; in 2003 the TV critic Mark Lewisohn named it "the 20th worst British sitcom of all time" in his book The Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy.
