Damon Dark is a science fiction series from Australia. It began in 1999, with a five-part weekly series on Melbourne's Community TV 31, following a screening of a 65 minute version of the story "Maddox" at the 57th World Science Fiction Convention held in Melbourne. The series was later revived as a YouTube webseries which inspired several related webseries, including "The Young Damon Dark Adventures" in which the character is played as a teenager, and Vincent Kosmos, about a character who is a friend of Damon. The character of Damon Dark has also been the main focus of an independent stage production and a self-published novel. The character was also featured in an unsold TV pilot which was independently financed but made with the hope of acquiring a professional television sale. The character was created by Adrian Sherlock. who has written most of the Damon Dark stories and played the character, along with other actors such as Bruce Hughes and Jack Knoll.

Adelaide Tonight was a nightly variety show, running four days a week at 9.30 pm on Nine Network, NWS-9 Adelaide. The show was broadcast live from Studio 1 between 1959 and 1973.

Aussie Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was an Australian reality television series that was based on the original and hugely popular American series, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Much like the American version, the program is premised on the stereotype that gay men are superior in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design and culture. In each episode, a team of five gay men—known collectively as the "Fab Five"—perform a makeover on a subject, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle and food. The program premiered on Network Ten at 7:30 pm on Wednesday 9 February 2005, during the first week the 2005 Australian ratings season to a national audience of 903,254. After the second episode saw its audience share drop 20 per cent to 725,263, rumours began the show would now be moved from its prime time slot at 7.30 pm on Wednesdays to 9.30 pm on Mondays. However, after the third episode which aired on 23 February, the Network axed the program. The three remaining episodes aired later in the year.

Bambaloo is a children's television program formerly shown on the Seven Network. More recently it has been shown on the ABC and is suitable for 3–5-year olds. The show focuses on song repetition to help children anticipate the next activity. The show was created by famous Australian animator Yoram Gross and The Jim Henson Company for a total of 65 episodes.

Boots 'N' All is the Sky Sports-televised rugby league, weekly magazine programme, focusing on the Super League, National Leagues and amateur game. Originally focusing on the lighter side of the game, the programme is the foremost rugby league programme on United Kingdom television and is broadcast every week during the regular rugby league season.

Stormy Petrel was an early attempt at Australian television drama. A mini-series/period drama, the 12-episode series told the story of William Bligh, and aired in 1960 on ABC. Other period drama series produced by ABC in the early 1960s included The Outcasts, The Patriots, and The Hungry Ones. Additionally, in 1964 the broadcaster aired The Purple Jacaranda, a mini-series/serial with a contemporary setting. Telerecordings of the series are held by National Archives of Australia.

Make Me a Supermodel is an Australian reality television series that is based from the successful British TV series of the same title except that men are also allowed to apply. It debuted on the Seven Network on 6 August 2008. It is hosted by the former Miss Universe winner Jennifer Hawkins. The judges for the program are Martin Walsh, managing director of Chadwick Models and manager and editor of the fashion magazine Marie Claire, Jackie Frank. Tyson Beckford, the co-host of the American edition, was a guest judge and mentor for the first few episodes whilst Travis Fimmel has turned down being a judge for the program. It was also announced that Tyson Beckford "finished up his MMAS duties after the second episode and may return sometime in the future." He did not return afterward. The winner of the first series was Rhys Uhlich who beat out Runner-up Shanina Shaik and Second Runner-up Courtney Chircop. The series was not renewed for a second season.

Australia's Perfect Couple was an Australian reality television series which aired on the Nine Network. The series was hosted by Jules Lund, and premiered on 22 July 2009 at 7:30 pm. The series ran for six episodes,

TAC Cup Future Stars is an Australian sports television program which focuses on the TAC Cup, an under-18 Australian rules football competition. It premiered on Sunday, 10 May 2009 at 1:00pm on GTV-9 in Melbourne, and features game highlights, interviews and analysis of the top prospects to be nominated in the AFL draft. TAC Cup Future Stars is hosted by Craig Hutchison, whose production company, Crocmedia, is producing the show. Former Hawthorn player, Ben Dixon, and AFL talent scout, Kevin Sheehan were panellists from the start, with Terry Wallace joining in 2010. In 2009, Sport 927's Angela Pippos reported from the field.

Squawk Australia was a television business news program aired every weekday at 6:00am Singapore/Hong Kong/Taiwan time on CNBC Asia. It was broadcast live from CNBC Asia's Australia studio in Sydney, and anchored by Amanda Drury. It was produced by CNBC Asia from Australia. It was also seen in the United States on the CNBC World channel at 6:00pm ET or 5:00pm ET. On Sundays, it was simulcasted on CNBC Europe at 22.00 UK time or 23.00 CET time. The studio for the show will soon be opened up for public viewing when the Financial and Energy Exchange opens its doors sometime in 2010. The show was filmed on the floor of the exchange in front of one of the largest videowalls in the Southern Hemisphere. Jeffrey James was the original anchor of Squawk Australia until his departure from the network in October 2008. It was announced in early 2010 that Squawk Australia will be cancelled as part of a programming revamp at the network on 14 June 2010. This is also due to the relocation of Karen Tso to Singapore, and Amanda Drury to CNBC headquarters in the U.S.

Once Upon a Time in Cabramatta is a three-part Australian documentary television series. It began screening on SBS One on 8 January 2012. It was also simulcast on SBS Two with Vietnamese subtitles. The mini-series tells the turbulent story of Cabramatta, a suburb of southwest Sydney, whose ethnic blend eventually changed Australia's attitude to multiculturalism. The series was released on DVD on 4 April 2012. The first episode attracted 626,000 viewers, coming in 9th for the night and 2nd in its timeslot.

At Your Request was an Australian television daytime series which aired from 1958 to 1959. The series aired on Tuesdays at 2:30PM on Melbourne station HSV-7, and was hosted by baritone Charles Skase, who was also known as a radio personality. Information on this series is scarce. The series presented requested songs, but it is not clear how these songs were presented. The archival status of the series is also not known, although being a daytime series aired in a single city means it is unlikely that kinescope recordings exist of it. For some time, the series was preceded on HSV-7's schedule by documentary series Australia Wide and followed by Gadget Man. On Australian television of the 1950s, music programmes were typically aired in a single city, with some exceptions.

C'mon, Have A Go! was an Australian television game show broadcast on the Seven Network in 1985 and 1986. The show was hosted by Tony Young. Contestants were drawn from the studio audience and encouraged to participate in games outside their declared area of expertise - using the show's title as a chanted catchphrase. Young would subject incorrect answers to a good-natured ribbing, drawing on his talents as a stand-up comedian. When creator and lead producer Sandy Scott left to work on a revival of the Family Feud format for Seven, the network dropped a planned third season of C'mon from its 1987 lineup. Tony Young resumed a radio career in his native Adelaide. Since 1995 he has worked as a media consultant.

Tonight Live with Steve Vizard was a nightly Australian comedy chat show broadcast on Seven Network in Australia. It was a one hour live studio based show broadcast nationally 5 nights a week from February 1990 to November 1993, usually commencing at 10.30 pm every week night. Presented by Australian lawyer,comedian and writer Steve Vizard, the show's format was an eclectic mix of a traditional Tonight Show, such as the Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson or Jay Leno, In Melbourne Tonight with Graham Kennedy with more off beat, often deconstructionist elements, such as broadcasting a rehearsal of the show, a rained out show, a parallel Tonight show, using the floor manager and cameramen as on air talent, using the studio audience to replace high profile guests and the like. The show won the late night ratings around Australia and won several awards including Variety Club Awards, Television Society Awards and Logie Awards, including in 1991 a Gold Logie for Steve Vizard as Most Popular Person on Australian Television and nominations on three other occasions.
