A comedy drama about the trials and tribulations of a couple whose extended family never seem to fly the nest.

The Crouches is a sitcom that aired on BBC One between 2003 and 2005, starring Rudolph Walker. Other main cast members were Robbie Gee and Jo Martin. Walker played Robbie Gee's father, and Mona Hammond, who played Jo's mother. The show was not well received by critics and only two series were made. It ratings were moderate, attracting an average of 3 million viewers. Childhood sweethearts Roly Crouch and Natalie have been married for 18 years. Roly works at for the London Underground at Lambeth North as a Station Assistant. Roly has two best mates, Ed and Bailey. Bailey, who is portrayed by Don Warrington is his boss, and Ed, who is portrayed by Danny John-Jules is also a station assistant. Ed is married to Lindy. Their relationship is rocky, and even when Lindy chucks him out of the house at times, he still thinks that she loves him and that it is her way of expressing her love to him. Natalie used to be in a rap duo with best mate Lindy, who is portrayed by Llewella Gideon, called "Bun and Cheese". Nat said they wanted to be Britain's answer to Salt-n-Pepa, but their musical career didn't take off despite Roly's support. She now manages a discount store in Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre and longs for some sophistication in her life.

Disaster Masters was a series on BBC1 which followed the workers of the British emergency and non-emergency repairs company Homeserve as they carried out repair work contracted by householders' insurance companies. During the different series, they were seen dealing with major disasters such as the Carlisle floods, Birmingham tornado and the Buncefield oil depot explosion. They were also seen carrying out more minor repairs such as boarding up broken windows. Disaster Masters ran for a total of two series and eighteen episodes before it was cancelled by the BBC. The series was then bought by Sky, who broadcast it at different times throughout the week on Sky Real Lives.

School's Out was a BBC television series hosted by Danny Wallace. Based on the premise of school subjects, celebrity contestants are asked questions they would have been asked at school.

Freshly Squeezed was a British television programme broadcast every weekday morning at around 07:00 on Channel 4.

Food Poker is a BBC tea-time television programme which fuses traditional culinary skills with poker. It is presented by Matt Allwright and each episode features four chefs. It was first broadcast on BBC Two in 2007.

The Impressionists is a three-part factual docudrama from the BBC, which reconstructs the origins of the Impressionist art movement.

Sunday Life was a British magazine/discussion television programme broadcast on Sundays on BBC One beginning 20 April 2008. It was presented by Louise Minchin and Colin Jackson. The show, which replaced the Heaven and Earth Show was intended to focus on "inspiring stories and thought-provoking discussion", with the slogan "Real stories. Real people. Real life." The show was partly intended to fill the public service remit of the BBC's broadcasting licence, as well as its Sunday morning religious quota. It was dropped from the schedule after one series and its slot in the schedule replaced by The Big Questions.

Paul Merton in China was a four-part television series broadcast on Five commencing from 21 May 2007. It follows the journey of Paul Merton, comedian and writer, and his interpreter Emma, as they voyage across the country, exploring Chinese culture, expansion and change from Mao Zedong's reign. The series was a hit for Five and Merton confirmed on Michael Parkinson's show that a second series entitled Paul Merton in India had been commissioned. The theme music from Channel Five's advertisement is Michel Legrand's Di Gue Ding Ding, which was also used as the theme music to Heston Blumenthal's series In Search of Perfection aired concurrently on BBC Two. All four episodes were released on DVD in late October 2008.

As Seen on TV is a BBC television panel game show based around TV trivia. It is produced by Shine TV by arrangement with Unique Broadcasting; the latter is the company owned by Noel Edmonds, who presented the similarly themed show Telly Addicts. It is presented by Steve Jones, with team captains Fern Britton and Jason Manford. The first episode was broadcast on Friday 17 July 2009. It was moved to a Thursday evening slot from its second episode.

Project Catwalk is a competitive reality television series focusing on fashion design. In the UK it is shown on the digital station Sky One. The show follows a group of fashion designers as they compete against each other to avoid being "the next fashion victim" and win the competition. The programme is based upon the US reality show Project Runway.

Farmer Wants a Wife is a reality television series developed by Fremantle Media. The first edition premièred in the United Kingdom on ITV in 2001. However, the original format of the programme is likely to date back to the TV programme Bauer sucht Bäuerin, which was broadcast in 1983 on SRG SSR idée suisse in Switzerland. The basic structure of the program is that a number of farmers are presented with women from the city, from whom they choose one to be their spouse. After its UK debut in 2001, the show had more than 10 localised versions around the world, with mixed ratings reports. It was the No. 1 television show for stations that aired it in Belgium and Norway, and was the highest rated entertainment show in the Netherlands. Premiered in spring 2008, the U.S. version of Farmer Wants a Wife consists of 8 episodes, during which 10 women are trying to be chosen by just one bachelor farmer. In this the U.S. version differed from the other international versions and it was more fictionalised. In September 2009, Farmer Wants a Wife returned to British television for a series on Channel 5, presented by singer and television personality Louise Redknapp.

Dirty Dancing: The Time of Your Life is a dance show created for Living as a tribute to Dirty Dancing's 20th anniversary in 2007. Due to the success of the show, a second series was shown in 2008.

Presented by Neil Oliver, A History of Scotland is a television series first broadcast in November 2008 on BBC One Scotland and later shown UK-wide on BBC Two during January 2009. The second series began on BBC One Scotland in early November 2009, with transmission at a later point on network BBC Two. Along with the series, BBC Scotland planned a range of radio programmes, a new website, an interactive game, and concerts. The Open University, in collaboration with the BBC, also created a series of audio walks around historic locations in Scotland, with narration from Oliver. In Australia, series one aired on SBS One Sundays at 7:30pm from 6 December 2009 to 3 January 2010. Series two commenced on 24 October 2010 running until 21 November in the same Sunday night Lost Worlds strand. It has since been repeated.

The seventh edition of Ballando con le Stelle was broadcast from February 26 to April 30, 2011 on RAI 1 and was presented by Milly Carlucci with Paolo Belli and his 'Big Band'.

Gash is a satirical TV comedy created by Armando Iannucci that was broadcast each weeknight from Monday 28th April to Thursday May 1st 2003 on Channel 4 to coincide with the 2003 local elections. Written and filmed on the day of transmission, the programme was a topical review show featuring sketches, modified VT footage, talk, discussion and jokes. The name derives from a television term for footage surplus to requirements. The show featured appearances from Olivia Colman, Dominic Holland and Jon Holmes amongst others. Many of the writers of the show — Simon Blackwell, Roger Drew, Tony Roche and Will Smith — went on to collaborate with Iannucci on the political sitcom The Thick of It and Time Trumpet. Other writers included Dan Tetsell, Danny Robins and Jon Holmes. Perhaps due to its topical nature, the series is not available on any commercial media formats or even via 4oD. It was produced by David Tyler.

Oz and James's Big Wine Adventure was a BBC television programme of which two series have been broadcast. It was presented by wine expert Oz Clarke and motoring journalist James May, with Clarke aiming to educate May about wine while undertaking a road trip. The first season focused on France and the second on California. The sequel series Oz and James Drink to Britain, broadcast in 2009, made the change to a focus on the variety of beverages available in the United Kingdom.

Race to Dakar is a documentary series following actor and keen motorcyclist Charley Boorman's entry into the 2006 Dakar Rally from Lisbon to Dakar. First aired on Sky2 and ABC Television during 2006, it was also released as a book.

Dickens is a 2002 three-part docudrama presented by Peter Ackroyd, on whose biography of Dickens it was based. An unorthodox style is taken: actors play various individuals in Dickens' life (as well as Dickens himself), interviewed as if appearing in a contemporary documentary. Their words are from actual letters and journals of the individuals involved, and serve to illuminate the hardships and successes in Dickens' life, and the way his experiences found their way into his works.

Casualty@Holby City is the name given to special crossover episodes of BBC medical dramas Casualty and Holby City. While Casualty was launched on 6 September 1986, and its spin-off Holby City was first aired on 12 January 1999, the first full crossover episode between the two programmes was not broadcast until 24 December 2004. As of 27 December 2005, four crossover specials have been aired, comprising nine episodes total. Although further crossovers of storylines and characters have since occurred, they have not been broadcast under the Casualty@Holby City title.
