Here's Humphrey is an Australian children's television series first aired on Monday 24 May 1965 on the Nine Network. It featured a character known as Humphrey B. Bear. In the early days Humphrey was known as Bear Bear and was named Humphrey B. Bear as the result of an on-air competition. Here's Humphrey has become one of the most successful programs for pre-schoolers in Australia.

Video Hits was an Australian music video program that first aired on 15 February 1987. From 7 May 2011 it broadcast on Network Ten for two hours each Saturday and Sunday morning: 10am – 12pm on Saturdays and 8am – 10am on Sundays. Video Hits was the world's second longest running music show after the Eurovision Song Contest. The show was cancelled in July 2011 and its last episode aired on 6 August 2011.

It began broadcasting on 1 September 2009 and is filmed in front of a live studio audience. It involves two teams competing in games of "vocal charades". The show is based on the 1979 United States game show The Junior Partner Pyramid, a children's variant of the Sony Pictures Television Pyramid franchise. In 2013, the show premieres with a new host, Beau Walker, and a strong focus on education and interactive media, with the release of the Pyramid Digital App.

Kid Detectives is an Australian children's TV program shown on the Seven Network. The show uncovers forensic mysteries in a way that is educational and fun to children and began airing on 7 August 2009. The program is hosted by Stephen Multari and Shae Brewster. The series is based on the book Crime Scene Detectives published by Dorling Kindersley. Kid Detectives use hands-on forensic skills to solve mysteries big and small at home. Kids become forensic super sleuths by following the do-it-yourself activities at home. Kids learn to assess and reconstruct a crime scene, collate evidence, analyse clues and eliminate suspects.

The Comedy Sale was a short-lived Australian sketch comedy television series, which screened on the Seven Network in 1993. The series featured comedy sketches taking place in a suburban in a suburban shopping mall.

Vidiot was a children's/teenage television game show broadcast from 1992 to 1995 on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It was hosted by Eden Gaha for the first two series, then Scott McRae for the 1994 and 1995 season. The game format was mostly a simple verbal question-and-answer, with slight variations like timed rounds, visual aids, and audio aids. Questions were themed on popular teen culture - Chart music, recent films, etc. For each Monday to Thursday broadcast three new teenage contestants battled to win a place for the Friday broadcast. A live audience, often fellow students from the school from which the contestants originated, was present. Vidiot was recorded in ABC's Sydney studios. On the east coast of Australia it was broadcast 5:30pm weeknights. Vidiot is also the term used by Ken Nordine in a sketch titled The Vidiot, on his 1957 album Word Jazz. The sketch is of a patient in a therapists office, describing his addiction to TV, and saying he has become a vidiot. Also used as a term to describe people who spend hours on computers and watch TV a lot. It was also a 1980s video game magazine that demised in the North American Video Game Crash of 1983.

They would later reunite when she returns. They would still be in love but the war would keep them apart when John signs on to help the military. Tanamera – Lion of Singapore is an 1989 Australian drama serial which is a Co production between Central independent television and Grundy in 1989.

The Weakest Link was an Australian game show based on the successful UK format, which aired from February 2001 until April 2002 and was broadcast on the Seven Network. Presented by Cornelia Frances, the show featured nine contestants competing for a potential prize of $100,000. Airing twice weekly in primetime, on Mondays and Fridays, later Thursdays, it received modest ratings until its cancellation. The Monday edition indirectly competed against the more-popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the Friday edition served as a lead-in to the AFL telecasts in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia only. Later on in the year, The Weakest Link was moved to Thursdays at 7:30pm. In 2002, the show aired only once a week, on Mondays. Due to poor ratings, the show was cancelled for good with one of the final episodes being a lifestyle special that aired on 8 April 2002. The show was produced in the Seven Network's South Melbourne headquarters.

The Mint was an Australian phone-in quiz show based on the British program of the same name, and broadcast on the Nine Network in selected areas in the late night time slot. The show was filmed live at Nine's GTV Richmond studios in Melbourne. It replaced Quizmania and was produced entirely by the Nine Network, unlike Quizmania which was produced by Fremantle Media. Like Quizmania, the program received its revenue from phone charges rather than advertisements. Only contestants aged 18 or over were allowed to participate. Each entry cost a flat 55c charge to a premium-rate 1902 number when calling from a landline. On 18 March 2008, it was announced that The Mint would be axed. The final episode aired on 29 March 2008.

The Steph Show is an Australian reality television series based on singer/actress Stephanie McIntosh. This show premiered on Australian TV at 6pm 28 July 2006 on Network Ten. The show, in the same vein as The Ashlee Simpson Show, had cameras following McIntosh as she recorded her debut album Tightrope which was released on 9 September 2006. The first single "Mistake" was released the day after the season premiere. The theme song is "Tightrope" by Stephanie McIntosh. The last episode is to coincide with the release of "Tightrope". The final show was aired on 15 September 2006. The finale included McIntosh shooting the music video for "Tightrope".

Happy Go Round was a 1970s Australian nationwide children's television series on QTQ-9 Brisbane, Queensland, starred by then Darlene Joyce Steinhardt, now Darlene Zschech, Darren Ormsby, Jenny Andrews, Leigh Muirhead, Terry Stewart, David Napier, Jo-Anne Stanley, and others. It was hosted by Jacki McDonald in the years before she joined the cast of Hey Hey It's Saturday, and was the first Australian children's show to receive the "C" rating for high quality children's programming.

Dining Downunder is an Australian cooking show hosted by celebrity chefs – Vic Cherikoff, Benjamin Christie and Mark McCluskey. The series began airing in 2004 on the ABC Asia Pacific, and ended its run in 2006.

Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos is a controversial Australian television comedy program which was broadcast on Nine Network on 4 September 1992. It was a one-off special spin-off of Australia's Funniest Home Video Show, depicting videos of sexual situations and other sexually explicit content. The program gained notoriety for, as with the 1969 American TV show Turn-On, being taken off the air part-way through the broadcast of its first and only episode.

Holiday Island is an Australian television series made by Crawford Productions for Network Ten. The show aired twice weekly from 1981 to 1982, with the first episode going to air on 17 June 1981. Like preceding Crawford's series, the aborted Hotel Story, Holiday Island was a Love Boat-style drama series set in a luxury hotel. This time the location was a tropical resort island in Queensland. In each episode the regular characters - the various islanders and hotel workers - hosted a new batch of guest star hotel guests. Various plots and situations on the show included a fierce cyclone hitting the island, children being kidnapped, a siege where the hotel workers were held hostage by less than pleasant guests, drug trafficking, the resort being terrorised by a biker gang and a politician dying of a heart attack while staying at the island's resort. The series became notorious amongst critics for its allegedly poor production values, and the wintry conditions under which the tropical drama was shot became the focus of most jibes. Though set in a tropical hotel with palm trees, sunshine and beautiful beaches, for practical reasons all interiors scenes - and the bulk of exterior scenes - were shot at the Ten Network's studios in Nunawading, Melbourne. The exterior set made heavy use of awnings in an attempt to disguise Melbourne's propensity for overcast skies, but attempts to mask the icy breath of the bathing beauties was not always successful. Attempts to shoot location footage in Queensland were hampered by the fact that the local television crews assigned to the shoot had experience only in shooting news footage, and the fact that heavy rain fell for several days of a planned shoot. Ray Meagher, a guest star in the show's first episode, later jokingly referred the show as Horror Day on Iceland.

The Singing Bee is an Australian game show which is based on the original American version of the same name. By combining karaoke singing with a spelling bee-style competition, contestants have to sing lyrics to songs without making a mistake or risk being eliminated immediately. The show premiered on Sunday 7 October 2007 on the Nine Network, which has ordered the production of an initial eight episodes. Its recording location is in Richmond, Victoria at the Nine Network's GTV-9 studios. The Singing Bee will follow the basic rules of the American version of the show but some rule changes have been made for the Australian version. On 22 March 2008, it was announced by the Nine Network that The Singing Bee is going back into production for a second season, with filming set to take place after the 2008 logies. Tim Campbell took over as host from Joey Fatone. The new season premiered on the Nine Network at 8.30pm on Thursday 10 July 2008. The Nine Network has confirmed that The Singing Bee would return in 2009.
