Agro's Cartoon Connection was an Australian children's television show that aired on the Seven Network from 1989 to 1997. Shown on weekday mornings, it was primarily hosted by Agro, a puppet played by comedian Jamie Dunn. It was originally filmed at BTQ7 from 1989 to 1996, after which it moved to ATN7 in 1997.

Ben Elton Live From Planet Earth is an Australian comedy television series produced by FremantleMedia which aired on the Nine Network in 2011. The program was broadcast live as a sketch comedy and variety show. Comedian Ben Elton presented the program and performed some stand-up material, with the sketches performed by an ensemble cast including Paul McCarthy and Genevieve Morris. After critical reviews, hostile social media reaction and poor ratings, the Nine Network cancelled the show after three episodes had aired.

New McDonald's Farm is an Australian children's television program broadcast on the Nine Network and Playhouse Disney, with episodes being produced from 2004 until at least 2008. This show and Australian hit Hi-5 used to swap the timeslot in order to film new seasons. The show revolves around a farm in the country owned by Milly and Max and occupied by six farm animals: Henry the Horse, Daisy the cow, Dash the Duck, Percy the Pig, Shirley the Sheep, and Charlotte the Hen. The show is aimed at pre-schoolers, and is of a light-hearted nature. It includes short sequences related to the show's plot, and sequences of singing and dancing with Max, Milly and some other children. Max is a forgetful, funny and energetic farm worker, who often gets his foot stuck in a bucket. Milly, on the other hand, is an intelligent, helpful and caring farmhand, who often helps Max out of his sticky situations. Each episode is half an hour long. The name of the show suggests that it was inspired by the classic children's song Old McDonald Had a Farm. Which is quite suitable, as it is not exactly what you would call an olden day farm, but the exact opposite, except for the good old windmill.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service or RFDS, was an Australian television series on the Nine Network based on the work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.

The Captain Fortune Show was a popular 1950s children's television show from Australia starring Alan Herbert that included various segments with puppets, clowns, and other entertainment. Herbert's character Captain Fortune wore a false beard and "naval uniform", and spoke directly with the kids, live and without a script. At the height of the show's popularity, it aired three times during the workweek and also on Saturday mornings. The show also included segments with Uncle Monty and Roy Kinghorn, and is perhaps best remembered for the show's introductory sequence, which involved the young children running into the Captain's house unannounced and gathering around a large barrel, which contained a mannequin. The Captain would sing "Who's that kno-o-cking on the barrel?" several times, after which a puppet would pop out of the top of the barrel and the Captain would put on a puppet show for the young viewers. Alan Herbert played the part of Captain Fortune for four years until leaving because of health problems. In addition to the show, Herbert was known for doing work for many charitable organizations involving children.

Saving Babies is an Australian medical documentary television series that screened on Network Ten from 15 February 2007 to 29 March 2007; airing seven episodes. The show was filmed at Sydney's Royal Hospital for Women and presented by former newsreader, Kim Watkins. The show follows the stories of unwell newborn infants and their families as they go through numerous medical examinations and treatments. Each half hour show follows three families and their stories while in the hospital. The program was broadcast on Thursday nights. The shows presenter, Kim Watkins, has had her own experience with the Royal Hospital for Women after giving birth to premature twin girls.

Conviction Kitchen (Australia) is a reality television series based on a Canadian series of the same name. The series follows a group of convicted criminals as they train in either back or front of house restaurant operations. The show was produced by the Seven Network and premiered 22 February 2011. The series includes Melbourne-based chef Ian Curley and restaurant manager Lisa Parker as mentors. Curley initially turned down the chance to star in the series as he felt there were already more than enough TV Chefs. He latter relented as he felt he could relate to the contestants. The series saw the ex-inmates complete two weeks of training and six weeks working in a fully operational restaurant, Bistro Three, at the Emporium centre in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Some were chosen to work front of house with the others training as kitchen staff. They earned the award minimum hourly wage, plus tips.

Wombat was an award-winning Australian children's TV show produced at BTQ Channel 7 in Brisbane from 1979 to 1990. It was aired on weekday afternoons, and later Saturday and Sunday mornings, across Australia. The show had a number of hosts who were accompanied by Agro, a puppet played by Jamie Dunn. The show consisted of small educational editorials presented in a variety of segments. The segments featured a number of regular reporters including Eric Summons, Fiona MacDonald, Bob La Castra, identical twins Gayle & Gillian Blakeney, Rob Elliott, Tony Gordon and Gary Hardgrave. The program also included children as regular reporters including Scott Sutherland, Pippa? Some of these reporters performed double duty as host of the show, notably Bob La Castra and Gayle & Gillian Blakeney. Other regular guests included: Laurel Edwards, Michael Futcher, Stacey Thompson, Ashley Wilkie, Kristine Davis, Jill Ray & Glenn Hansen. The show received four consecutive Logie Awards for "Most Popular Children's Program" from 1987 to 1990. In addition, Agro won a Penguin Award from the Television Society of Australia. Some of the cast went on to appear in Totally Wild. Agro also went on to host Agro's Cartoon Connection and The Super Sunday Show.

It was hosted by Jack Davey, who also hosted two other Australian game shows during the late-1950s, The Dulux Show and The Pressure Pak Show, and was produced by Sydney station ATN-7 also airing in Melbourne on station GTV-9. It was sponsored by Persil, a laundry detergent. At least 13 kinescope recordings exist of the series at the National Film and Sound Archive, along with copies of a radio version

Happy Go Round was a 1970s Australian nationwide children's television series on QTQ-9 Brisbane, Queensland, starred by then Darlene Joyce Steinhardt, now Darlene Zschech, Darren Ormsby, Jenny Andrews, Leigh Muirhead, Terry Stewart, David Napier, Jo-Anne Stanley, and others. It was hosted by Jacki McDonald in the years before she joined the cast of Hey Hey It's Saturday, and was the first Australian children's show to receive the "C" rating for high quality children's programming.

Aerobics Oz Style was a long-running Australian aerobic exercise instruction television series, shown in Australia on weekends and then weekdays on Network Ten at 6:00 am then 6:30 am and distributed to many other countries. It was cancelled by Channel Ten at the end of 2005. AOS will continue to be broadcast on Australian television via AURORA Channel 183 - on the Foxtel Digital, Optus and Austar platforms - which broadcasts Aerobics Oz Style every day at 6.30am AEST and also 2.00pm AEST. In Europe Aerobics Oz Style is broadcast daily on Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 2 at 6:00 and it's repeated daily on Sky Sports 3 or Sky Sports 4 at 11:30 and 16:30. In 2011 Sky Sports started to broadcast additional airings of the show. The program is now aired in the small hours of the morning, as early as, 00:30. The series began in 1982 and had run continuously through until 2005, with over 4,500 episodes produced, by production company Zero1Zero. The format remained consistent throughout its run. Each show was 30 minutes divided into four segments, one of warmup exercises, two main exercise segments, and a stretch/cool-down segment. One instructor leads the exercises, with four demonstrators following to the side and behind. Later shows were shot outdoors at scenic locations around Sydney, in earlier shows an indoor studio was used.
