Journey to the Center of the Earth is an American science fiction animated television series, consisting of 17 episodes, each running 30 minutes. Produced by Filmation in association with 20th Century Fox, it aired from September 9, 1967 to September 6, 1969 on ABC Saturday Morning. It featured the voice of Ted Knight as Professor Lindenbrook. It was later shown in reruns on Sci Fi Channel's Cartoon Quest. It appears to have taken the 1959 film, Journey to the Center of the Earth, as its starting point rather than Jules Verne's original novel, e.g. including the character of Count Saknusssen and Gertrude the duck. However it moved even further away from Verne's novel than the 1959 film.

Arthur's Treasured Volumes was a black-and-white British television series that aired on ITV in 1960. Starring Arthur Askey, it was written by Dave Freeman and was made for the ITV network by ATV. All episodes are missing having been presumed wiped during the 1960s, although part of the first episode "A Blow In Anger" was recovered by Paul Stroud and shown at the National Film Theatre in November 2003.

1, 2, 3 Go is an American filmed children's television series hosted by Jack Lescoulie with Richard Thomas. The 30-minute educational series was telecast on NBC in 1961-62. Each episode had a theme and was narrated by Thomas. The show established that adult and child were on an equal footing, sometimes with the child in a superior position.

Turn Out the Lights was an ITV sitcom series made by Granada Television, that was first broadcast from Monday 2 January to Monday 6 February 1967 by Associated Rediffusion and Tyne Tees Television,. The series was a spin-off from the sitcom Pardon the Expression, itself a spin-off from the highly popular soap opera Coronation Street. Leonard Swindley was the central character, along with Wally Hunt. Swindley was formerly the manager of the fashion retail store "Gamma Garments" in Coronation Street and the deputy manager of the department store Dobson and Hawks in Pardon the Expression: in this series he becomes a professional speaker on astrology who encounters various supernatural events on his travels around the country, along with his colleague Wally Hunt, after they were both fired from Dobson and Hawks in the last episode of "Pardon the Expression". The series directors were David Boisseau and Michael Cox, production designers were Dennis Parkin and Roy Stonehouse.

The Governor & J.J. is a television series that ran from September 1969 to January 1971 on CBS in the United States and in Canada, where it ran on CBC Television. Selected episodes were rerun by CBS during the summer of 1972. It was produced by Talent Associates and CBS Productions. CBS Television Distribution now owns the distribution rights to the program. The series starred Dan Dailey and Julie Sommars. It focused on William Drinkwater, a governor in an unnamed Midwestern state, who, in lieu of his late wife, had a "first lady" in his twenty-something year-old daughter, Jennifer Jo. J.J., as Jennifer Jo was called, had a regular job as an assistant curator at a zoo in the capital city and had a love for animals. She was bright and opinionated and could also debate political issues with her father as well as anyone else. Despite their difference in opinions, William really loved J.J., and she proved herself to be charming and efficient in her duties being "first lady" for her widowered father. J.J. often gained support and advice from Maggie McLeod, the governor's secretary; George Callison, the Governor's press secretary, and from Sara Andrews, the housekeeper at the Governor's Mansion, who appeared in twenty-three episodes.

My Father Knew Lloyd George was a one-off BBC satire written by John Bird with additional material by the cast, and directed by Jack Gold. It aired in December 1965. The programme was set in Victorian England and concerned the antics of a young aristocrat, attempting to distance his grandfather from a scandal concerning the wife of the Prime Minister. Bird himself played Queen Victoria whilst Alan Bennett played the villain of the piece, and Eleanor Bron also appeared. The show was responsible for seeing Bird named TV Personality of the Year by the Society of Film and Television. The title comes from the lyrics of a schoolboy song: "Lloyd George Knew My Father, My Father Knew Lloyd George".

THE FUNNY COMPANY was an American animated cartoon produced in 1963 and seen in syndication. Ken Snyder and Charles Koren produced 260 six-minute long episodes. The Mattel Corporation provided financial backing. Snyder conceived the program in response to then-Federal Communications Commission chairman Newton N. Minow's call for more educational children's programs. THE FUNNY COMPANY group resembled a club not unlike a Junior Achievement organization, and most of the time, the stories would revolve around the Company being hired for various jobs to make a little money or doing something for charity. As time went on, the Company decided to make Shrinkin' Violette a movie star and were on their way to Hollywood. Members included leader Buzzer Bell, inventor Jasper N. Park, club secretary Polly Plum, rotund Merry Twitter, club mascot Terry Dactyl, shy Shrinkin' Violette, and two Native American adults--Super Chief whose voice was an air horn of a single-chime railroad locomotive, and his translator Broken Feather. Another adult lending a hand was Professor Todd Goodheart with his supercomputer, the Weisenheimer.

Possible Possum is a series of animated shorts for television, produced by Terrytoons. One of the last series to be produced in-house at New Rochelle before the animation studio chose to outsource to the L.A-based studio for the remainder of its active years. The series ran from 1965 to 1971, a year after Deputy Dawg ceased production.

The Super 6 is an animated cartoon series which was produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises in 1966, and shown on the NBC television network from 1966 to 1969. This was DePatie-Freleng's first vehicle for Saturday morning. The Super 6 theme song was performed by Gary Lewis & the Playboys.

Little Amy is a 1962 failed television pilot written by Norman Paul and starring Debbie Megowan. Other cast members include Bill Leslie, Shary Marshall, and Jack Nicholson in a small part as a football coach. It was filmed at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and was produced by the CBS Television Network. The failed pilot is widely considered to be based on the popular cartoon series Little Audrey.

A glossy, bikini-filled police action drama set in the South of France features four main characters played by Noel Trevarthen, Frank Lieberman, Geoffrey Frederick, and Brian Spink. Although these four determined police officers rarely appeared together in the same episode, the show had everything: four handsome policemen, blue skies, a stunning backdrop of the Côte d'Azur, major crime, and numerous bikini-clad starlets. There was plenty of time for chatting up women on the beach in between chasing villains.

Dave's Place was a national Australian weekly musical variety television show starring Dave Guard, formerly of The Kingston Trio and The Whiskeyhill Singers. Guard as host was joined each Sunday night with Dave's Place Group, performing several folk songs. The series was set in a tropical South Pacific tea house, where popular folk guest performers entertained on the club's small stage. Queenie Paul, the well-known Australian comedian, played the recurring part of an out-of-touch, aged bar fly who was seen preferring to watch TV than to engage in the show. Glamorous, exotic hostesses served the patrons while they listened to the folk and jazz ensembles. The showed was telecast in 1965 for thirteen episodes.

Rebellious youth program that causes a great stir by breaking societal taboos. 'Hoepla' portrays 'underground' culture, but the Netherlands is not yet ready for this in 1967. Public nudity and drunken soldiers cause many viewers and various members of the House of Representatives to condemn the program. Only three episodes are broadcast. Although 'Hoepla' gives the VPRO an innovative image, the broadcasting management decides to take the program off the air after much negative criticism and the associated loss of members. 'Hoepla' will always be mentioned in the same breath as the bare breasts of fashion model Phil Bloom. The program is produced by Hans Verhagen, Wim van der Linden, and Wim T. Schippers.
