The Up-Late Game Show

The Up-Late Game Show was a late night interactive television quiz program shown in Australia on Network Ten, written and hosted by Big Brother Australia 2005 contestant Simon Deering, commonly known by the nickname Hotdogs. The show's format had the host presenting simple puzzles which viewers could attempt to solve over the phone. Successfully solving a puzzle would result in a cash prize for the contestant. The show debuted on 16 August 2005, the day after the Big Brother 2005 finale. The first caller in was Big Brother winner Greg Mathew, who congratulated Hotdogs on his new show. The first series ended 22 April 2006 to make way for Big Brother UpLate. The second series started on 31 July 2006, the day of the Big Brother Australia 2006 finale, with Deering returning as host. From August 2006, Hotdogs was joined by co-hosts Big Brother 2006 housemate Rob Rigley and singer Chrissy Bray. On Monday 7 August and Tuesday 26 September former Big Brother contestant Krystal Forscutt co-hosted the show. The show's format initially had the host sitting at a table, with a bowl of popcorn and a mug. After the Christmas and New Year break, the format had changed to Deering walking around the set.

Big Brother was a reality TV series shown in the Czech Republic, broadcast by TV Nova. It is also known as Velký Bratr. The Czech version is based on the popular Dutch Big Brother international television series produced by Endemol where a number of contestants, live in an isolated house for a certain period of time. At all times, housemates are under the control of Big Brother, a rule-enforcing authority figure who monitors the behaviour of the housemates, sets tasks and punishments, and provides the only link to the outside world for the contestants. The premiere saw thirteen housemates originally enter the house, with four additional people entering at various point during the programme. The show caused controversity when contestant Filip Trojovský was recognized as gay porn star Tommy Hansen. Also a commercial model, Trjovský starred in a TV spot for a German milk-company prior to entering the house. A German tabloid revealed the scandal, causing the spot to be taken off air. When his past became known, Trojovský became the first person to be evicted, and as a result, the ratings quickly fell. He was quickly reinstated as a housemate a few weeks later. In the end, Trojovský, who started a heterosexual relationship in the house, finished in third place.

Club Goa was a 2005 Swedish TV show in which STRIX Television's 12 most famous reality TV stars went on a bar tour to Goa, India. In 2005, several reality shows had been aired in Sweden on the commercial channels TV3, TV4 and Kanal 5, as well as on SVT, for a couple of years and produced quite a few celebrities in the process. TV3 took it on themselves to gather the most famous Swedish reality show participants from such shows, including Expedition Robinson, Big Brother, Baren, and so forth to run a restaurant in Drop Anchor, Goa, India. The show was never a big success on TV3. Club Goa was built upon strong characters and big cultural challenges. In the first series there were former reality TV participants from various shows that were highly familiar to the audience. The journey ended at a beach club in Goa, where celebrities were not just expected to work as bartenders, but also to take responsibility for the bar, the restaurant, marketing, and big events. One after another they were forced to leave the party and return home to a freezing winter. The last one standing on the beach won .

Aussie Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was an Australian reality television series that was based on the original and hugely popular American series, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Much like the American version, the program is premised on the stereotype that gay men are superior in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design and culture. In each episode, a team of five gay men—known collectively as the "Fab Five"—perform a makeover on a subject, usually a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle and food. The program premiered on Network Ten at 7:30 pm on Wednesday 9 February 2005, during the first week the 2005 Australian ratings season to a national audience of 903,254. After the second episode saw its audience share drop 20 per cent to 725,263, rumours began the show would now be moved from its prime time slot at 7.30 pm on Wednesdays to 9.30 pm on Mondays. However, after the third episode which aired on 23 February, the Network axed the program. The three remaining episodes aired later in the year.
