We Are History is a British comedy series broadcast on the BBC. It ran for two series of six ten-minute episodes. The series was a parody of historical and archaeological documentaries, especially those of the Time Team, Meet the Ancestors and Simon Schama. Marcus Brigstocke played dubious historian David Oxley, who would attempt to 'recreate' a number of historical events in a modern setting. In one episode, he recreated the Viking invasion of Britain in "the last bastion of Viking control" - an Ikea store. In another, he recreated the Spanish Armada in a swimming pool with children throwing foam balls at one another. Much of the humour derived from Oxley's singular incompetence and stupidity. He seemed totally unaware of the facts of history and often made things up as he went along. Each episode had a general theme that offered a view of history totally at odds with the known facts - such as Camelot being buried underneath Heathrow Airport or the Norman invasion being a bunch of French visitors who overstayed their welcome and got carried away. In every episode, Oxley talked of "new evidence unearthed by local enthusiasts".

Rich Hall's Cattle Drive is a television sitcom starring Rich Hall and Mike Wilmot. It was broadcast in 2006 in the United Kingdom on BBC Four, and ran for one series consisting of six episodes. It has been repeated on BBC Four but has not been shown on British terrestrial television.

Get a Grip was a television series shown on ITV in the United Kingdom. It aired on Wednesday nights in April/May 2007 and was hosted by Ben Elton and Alexa Chung. The programme was made by Phil McIntyre Productions and Big Bear Films. ITV dropped Get a Grip from its 10pm slot as it was not performing well in terms of ratings. The programme was moved to Monday nights after midnight for the rest of the series. The show received an averaged audience of around 1.5 million, usually being beaten by rival channels BBC One and Channel 4.

Ocean Odyssey is a two-part, two-hour television programme produced for the BBC by the production company Impossible Pictures. It follows the life of a bull Sperm whale from his first deep dive until his death, stranded on a beach. Unlike most Impossible Pictures productions, it uses CGI to recreate currently living rather than extinct creatures. Also, most of the backgrounds are CG as well.

Grand Designs Indoors is a spin-off of Grand Designs, with a similar format. As the name suggests, the series concentrates on the interior transformation of properties.

The main characters Sissy Le Poop, Smelly Pete and Shark Bait all live on the ship called "The Soiled Pair" and go on a different random adventure in every episode. The series was developed and produced by Blue-Zoo Productions and is owned by Entara. The opening sequence features their ship and the names of the characters. The theme song is as follows:

Chop Cut Rebuild was an automotive television series seen on Speed Channel from 2004 - 2013. Hosted by Canadian actor, Dan Woods, previously known for his role as Principal Daniel Raditch in the first four seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation. On March 5, 2013, Fox Sports announced that it would relaunch Speed Channel as Fox Sports 1 on August 17, 2013, with significant changes in programming but retaining NASCAR coverage. On June 21st, 2013, Fox Sports 1 announced that a number of series that aired on Speed Channel would not be part of the new Fox Sports 1 line up, Chop Cut Rebuild will not be part of the new network. Starting April 8th 2014, Chop Cut Rebuild will air on MAVTV.

The Sex Inspectors is a late night UK TV show that focuses on sex therapy for couples facing difficulties with their relationship. The show, presented by Tracey Cox and Michael Alvear, aids couples by offering ways to spice up their relationships and sex lives. The show airs at 11PM on Channel 4, and each series usually consists of 3 to 4 episodes, with the series finale being a special episode devoted to revisiting the couples featured on the series. On the first visit, CCTVs are installed throughout the house, allowing the Tracey and Micheal to monitor the couples' lives. After a few days of monitoring, the presenters then go back to the couples to tell them what they are doing wrong and what needs to be improved.

Send in the Dogs is a British documentary television series about the work of the British Transport Police's police dogs. The first series of four episodes aired on ITV from 15 July to 5 August 2008. The show was renewed the following year, and a second series of eight episodes aired on ITV from 21 July to 8 September 2009.

Gameshow Marathon was a British game show, broadcast on ITV from 17 September 2005 to 26 May 2007. After a quick retrospective look at the history of the particular show, the show itself is recreated. This involved recreating the original set and using original opening programme titles, including the appropriate producer ident. All participants are celebrities, and any prizes won go into a "Viewer Prize Mountain" which is awarded to a viewer via a phone-in competition.

The Big Idea is a gameshow that aired on Sky One in 2006. Hosted by Richard Bacon, the show aimed to find the country's best new business idea, with the public voting for the winner who would receive £100,000 to invest in their concept. Regional heats took place in Manchester and London, then in every episode three mentors introduced two of the products they backed from the regionals. Scrapheap Challenge's Dick Strawbridge would then apply some quirky product testing.

Son of God is an award-winning British documentary series that chronicles the life of Jesus Christ using scientific and contemporary historical evidence. It was presented by Jeremy Bowen, and its first episode premiered in the United Kingdom on 1 April 2001. The executive producer was Ruth Pitt and it was directed by Jean-Claude Bragard—it took a total of 16 months to produce and cost GB£1.5 million. A full symphonic score was composed by James Whitbourn. Son of God featured interviews with 21 historians and other Biblical experts, live action reenactments of the life of Jesus with Leron Livo in the lead role, and computer-generated images of what locations from Jesus's time might have looked like. These images, created by design team Red Vision, were praised by critics and received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2001 Royal Television Society North Awards.

A Seaside Parish is a British television documentary made by Tiger Aspect Productions for BBC2 which was first broadcast in 2003. Following the success of A Country Parish, the programme concerns the life of a new incumbent and general parish life in the village of Boscastle and the adjoining district, a picturesque but isolated community in North Cornwall. The Rev Christine Musser and her American husband arrived in Boscastle at the start of that year when she was appointed Priest-in-Charge of Boscastle with Davidstow. The programme was also filmed during the Boscastle flood of 2004. The Boscastle Group has within it six parishes and seven churches, six of which are Grade II listed buildings. The total area covered by the parishes is more than 20,000 acres, although within that large area the total population is only 1,850 people. The Rector of Boscastle is responsible for seven churches in the village and surrounding district: Forrabury, Minster, St. Juliot, Lesnewth, Trevalga, Otterham and Davidstow. The programme was followed by the series An Island Parish in 2007, which focused on the clergy and parishioners of the Isles of Scilly.

The Force was a series of three observational documentary programmes created for Channel 4 by Oxford Film and Television and Patrick Forbes, following the work of Hampshire Constabulary. The first episode follows a murder investigation after a burnt body is found, the second follows the work of a dedicated rape unit, while the third follows a case of arson/murder, nine months after the incident. The series, which was first run in 2009, was well received by critics, who said the documentary was more interesting than they had anticipated.

The contestants do not necessarily need to get the questions right in order to win, and can bluff their way through the game and pressure their opponents into folding in order to win.

Jailbreak was a reality television game show. It was hosted by Craig Charles, and co-presented by Charlie Stayt and Ruth England. It was shown in 2000 by Five in the United Kingdom. Original host Ulrika Jonsson had to pull out of the project due to health concerns over her newborn child. Contestants in Jailbreak had to escape from a mock prison in order to win a cash prize of £100,000. The "prison", at a secret location near Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, was fitted with hi-tech security systems. "Inmates" faced a three-week authentic prison regime, complete with 35 prison guards and a 18-foot high fence topped with razor wire. A number of chinks in the security system were deliberately placed by the production team. Escapes were aided by a series of clues, and by texts from the viewing public with suggestions on escape routes. The show was won by three female contestants Roberta Woodhouse, 29, Hannah Davies, 24, and Laura Hawkins, 22. They broke out of the prison in the early hours of a Saturday morning - 14 days into the show. It has not been commissioned for a further series.

That Antony Cotton Show is a British comedy chat show that was broadcast on ITV & STV for one series in 2007. It was presented by Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton, and aired on weekdays at 5pm. The show was not broadcast in Northern Ireland, due to UTV's news programme beginning at 5.30pm. The show was filmed in front of a live audience at the ITV Granada studios in Manchester. Preview tapes of the pilot circulated before the series began, mainly on YouTube, and were panned by critics as it was simply a copy of The Paul O'Grady Show, which originally was shown on ITV. ITV Productions Granada thought Anthony Cotton would have been either more popular or as popular as with viewers as Paul O'Grady was. That Antony Cotton Show launched with 2 million viewers at 5pm on Monday 13 August 2007. This was significantly up on the slot average of 1.7 million viewers. It also attracted more than Channel 4's flagship daytime show, Richard & Judy, which pulled in just 1.1 million viewers at the same time. However, by its third episode, the show had lost 500,000 viewers, drawing 1.5 million and a 13% share. Viewership continued to fall further for Cotton's show. On 24 August 2007, only 1.1 million tuned in. The show's viewership slumped to below 1.1 million on 11 September 2007.

Ray Mears Goes Walkabout is a survival television series hosted by Ray Mears, showing Mears in Australia. The series airs on the BBC in United Kingdom, it is also shown on Discovery Channel in Canada, India, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Russia, and the United States. A book of the same title was released concurrently with the series. In the series Mears met one of his heroes: Les Hiddins.
